Shot putting is a short-term and short-distance throwing event with explosive force as the main force.In shot putting,all the body's center of gravity is supported by one leg in the initial posture to maintain body stability and balance,which requires higher core strength.In the technical movements of swinging leg swing,sliding and jumping,the body is in an unstable motion state.If the core muscle is weak or the core region is not fully trained,the core region cannot collect more muscle groups to participate in the movement,the transmission of core force to limbs cannot be effectively transmitted,and the low efficiency of the movement causes energy leakage,thus causing the exertion of explosive force to greatly affect the performance of the movement.Core strength training can enable deep stabilizing muscles to maintain trunk stability and balance,control excessive rotation of trunk,and external motor muscles can effectively conduct strength transmission to distal ends of limbs.When the core muscle groups work together efficiently,the effect of 1+1>2 can be brought into play,so that the sports performance can be coordinated,extended,coherent and effective,creating conditions for power generation and increasing energy output.To enable athletes to develop the potential of explosive force in the competition,thus achieving ideal competition results.Therefore,this study uses experimental method to verify the influence of core strength training on shot putters' explosive power,so as to improve shot putters' explosive power and make athletes achieve the best sports results on the field.This paper mainly adopts the experimental method and selects 20 male athletes of track and field team of Shandong Institute of Physical Education for grouping(experimental group and control group).The training content of the experimental group includes core strength training and basic training(the intensity is the same as that of the control group,and the training amount is half of that of the control group).The control group only includes basic training,and the content is the same as that of the experimental group.The experiment lasted for eight weeks.After the end of the eighth weeks,statistical analysis was carried out on the index data obtained from theexperiment,and the following conclusions were drawn:1.Core strength training has limited effect on shot putter's upper and lower limb explosive power,suggesting that core strength training may not have obvious promotion effect on athlete's local explosive power.2.Core strength training can obviously improve the whole body explosive force performance of shot put,suggesting that core strength plays a positive role in many aspects of human body movement,and can improve athletes' athletic performance through the role of core bridge.3.Core strength training has a positive impact on shot putters' performance.The simpler the technique,the greater the impact.It suggests that athletes should combine core strength training with technical exercises to integrate core strength into completing technical movements.
