Under the background of education reform,the geography practical ability is put forward in the General High School Geography Curriculum Standard(revised version).As a kind of educational practice,research travel is considered to be an effective way to cultivate the practical ability of geography,and has gradually become an important way of geography learning.In recent years,international study travel has also been brought into the curriculum system by many schools,but there are many problems in practice,such as lack of scientific guidance,lack of clear teaching objectives,simple learning tasks and insufficient preview of relevant materials.lack of detailed and solid preparation work,etc.,failed to achieve the unity of education and practicality.Through the steps of on-the-spot investigation in Europe,literature review,investigation and interview,this paper designs a reasonable European study travel plan,which provides a case study for middle schools to better implement the international study travel course and cultivate the practical ability of geography.to solve the problems in the process of international research travel.This study has done the following aspects of work.1.Six-month field visits to nine European countries;2.Conduct a questionnaire interview survey on some schools with international departments in Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai,including students' questionnaires and teacher interviews;3.Analyze the curriculum standard content and the training goal of geography practice ability,and take both as the design basis;4.The link design of the European study travel plan;5.Four distinctive research sites in Slovenia and Hungary are selected for case design;6.The study travel brochure and the reference answers of the ppt lecture are designed and put in the appendix.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows.1.To carry out a study trip in Europe,there are both opportunities and challenges.Through reasonable program guidance,this study solves many existing problems of international research travel,trains students' practical ability of geography,and broadens the international vision of teachers and students.two?.Study trip in Europe is a kind of educational practice,which should be guided by curriculum standards.This study takes the course contents of compulsory course 1,compulsory course 2,elective I-1,elective ?-2 and the training goal of geographical practice ability as the design basis.And selected Julian Alps,Postoina Cave,Maribor,Budapest four research sites for case design.3.The design of European study travel plan should include theme,teaching goal,organization mode and activity form,practical activity task and pre-departure preparation,and diversified evaluation methods should be designed to meet the training needs of students.
