The after-class exercises of the Ministry of Education's textbook of elementary Chinese,as an important part of the textbook operation system,is complied strictly in accordance with the model system and the subject knowledge system.It corresponds to the teaching focus of each lesson and has extremely high use value.Due to the short time of using the unified textbooks,the research on the use of after-class exercises is still in its infancy.There exist many unreasonable ways in front-line teachers' use of after-class exercises,and the overall use efficiency is low.Therefore,it is particularly important to carry out specific research on the use of after-class exercises of the Ministry of Education's textbook of elementary Chinese.This thesis is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is the introduction.This part mainly explains the basic questions of this research: the research reason and significance,definition of concepts,theoretical basis,related research review,research objects,research methods and ideas.The second chapter is to sort out the writing characteristics of after-class exercises of the Ministry of Education's textbook of elementary Chinese.Through comparing after-class exercises of elementary Chinese of the Ministry of Education's textbook with the People's Education Press' s textbook,its characteristics obviously provides theoretical basis for this thesis.The third and fourth chapters investigate the current situation of after-class exercises through questionnaires and interviews.The analysis finds that teachers have those problems in their use of after-class exercises of the textbook: the teaching goals are narrowed;the practice usage types are weakened;the usage methods are simplified;the usage effect are varied.And based on the problems,to analyze the cause of them.The fifth chapter,aiming at the problems and reasons appeared in the after-class exercises of elementary Chinese,the author puts forwards suggestions in consider ofsome relevant cases: giving full play of exercises' value;focusing more on the comprehensive learning exercises;strengthening the redevelopment of exercise resources as well as balancing various students' study result.The chapter sixth combines with the previous research on the current situations and problems,the author proposes four suggestions on how to effectively and comprehensively use the after-class exercises: analyzing the exercises and setting the teaching goals;choosing the exercises and setting up pre-class previews;integrating the exercises to optimize the teaching process;extending the practice and designing the operational flow of the inquiry activity.
