With the cancellation of the examination and approval system of mass sports events and the development of national fitness, marathon events in China have developed rapidly, but at the same time,it exposed more and more problems. An athlete died suddenly in the "Zhenghe Cup" half marathon in Kunming in 2018.In the Suzhou marathon,"forced the national flag to the athletes" and the "running China" Nanning station suddenly stopped the athletes and took photos with him.All events show that it is very important to conduct risk management before the start of the race and effectively avoid the risks of marathon race.First of all, based on the research results of the risk identification of the 2018 Hangzhou marathon by using the methods of literature, questionnaire and Delphi, this study identifies the risks of the marathon and obtains the list of the risks of the Hangzhou marathon. On this basis,it further evaluates the risks of the marathon and calculates the risks of all levels by the list sorting method At the same time, the risk weight value of all kinds of risks at all levels is calculated by AHP,and the risk is divided into important risk, secondary risk and general risk by Pareto analysis. The purpose of this research is to improve the risk management of Hangzhou marathon, provide theoretical reference for the organizers of the event to formulate risk response measures, and contribute to the healthy development of Hangzhou marathon. The results are as follows:(1)Risk identification of Hangzhou Marathon: determine the list of risks of Hangzhou marathon, including 5 first-class risks including personnel risks and environmental risks,14 second-class risks including volunteer risks and staff risks, and 64 third-class risks including volunteer management risks and volunteer field cognition risks. The causes of Marathon risk mainly include the large scale of the event, the complexity of the involved personnel and organization, and the fact that marathon itself is a high-intensity sport.(2)Risk assessment of Hangzhou Marathon: the first level risk includes 3important risks: personnel risk, economic risk and organization management risk. The second level risk includes 7 important risks, including athlete risk and volunteer risk. The third level risk includes 28 important risks, including sports injury risk and budget cost excess.(3)Based on the above conclusions, combined with the results of risk assessment, the following suggestions are put forward:(1)improve the risk management of events and pay attention to "important risks";(2)pay attention to personnel risks, especially risks of athletes and volunteers, including vigorously promoting professional knowledge of marathon, rigorous qualification examination, paying attention to voluntary work and making full use of voluntary service;(3)pay attention to economic risks and prepare Sufficient economic budget, including paying attention to the economic environment, timely adjusting the way of fund recovery, reasonably controlling the cost of the event, and increasing the development of the event;(4)According to the competition guide, standardize and improve the competition service;(5)optimize the organization and management of the competition and focus on the details.
