In the early days of the Nanjing National Government,historical education was highly valued for reasons of the times.The authorities successively promulgated the educational principles of the Three People's Principles and revised and improved the middle school history curriculum standards.The entrance examination has become an important measure for the authorities to rectify the history education in middle schools.The examination committee for the history of the middle school is held under the sole responsibility of the temporarily established examination committees in various regions,and formulates stricter examination methods.As the most important carrier of the exam,historical test questions are drawn up by the provinces who have learned knowledge.They are mainly based on short answer questions and essay questions.In view of the differences between junior and senior high school students,historical test questions also show two different tendencies.Junior high school test questions focus on knowledge and memory,while high school focuses more on the expansion of thinking skills.History exam questions also show more flexibility in focusing on basic knowledge,interdisciplinarity,and setting optional questions.Through the collection and analysis of the literature,it is found that the middle school history examination system can stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning,standardize history teaching,and cultivate emotional values,which is a useful attempt to measure the history level of middle school students.However,affected by the times,the modern middle school history examination gradually deviated from its original intention and had a certain negative impact.
