Research On The Construction Of Mutual Aid Network For The Disabled In Urban Communities

Persons with disabilities are disadvantaged in society due to physical and mental disabilities,while the community is one of the most marginalized groups in the world.With the increase in the number of persons with disabilities in China,the problem of disabled people has increasingly become an important factor affecting social stability and development,the government has a dominant role in helping people with disabilities,and every social person has an obligation to participate together,which also requires that the social work of disabled individuals must take a way to promote the development of the disabled community and speed up the resolution of them,in order to promote the reintegration of persons with disabilities into society.Taking the service of disabled individuals in the "Socialization of Community Service" project in Suzhou City,Jiangsu Province,as an example,the disabled person sits as the research object of L community rehabilitation station in Suzhou City,aiming to help the disabled build a long-term and stable mutual aid network,so that disabled people can obtain the problem-solving ability from the mutual aid network.Through the preliminary investigation,the researcher found that there is a lack of function in the social support network of disabled people in the L community rehabilitation station,and then analyzed the necessity of social work intervention to help build the mutual assistance network for the disabled.In the medium-term stage of practical intervention,with ten sage disabled people to form a mutual aid group,a total of 10 group activities,successfully built a mentally intelligent disabled people's mutual assistance network in the rehabilitation station.In the later stage,the researcher carried out process assessment and result evaluation,discussed the achievements and shortcomings in practical work,and put forward relevant opinions and suggestions on the construction of mutual assistance network for persons with disabilities.This study reflects the important role of group work in the mutual assistance network of disabled people,and found that the self-awareness and multi-party coordination of disabled people are important factors for successful construction.The construction of mutual assistance network for persons with disabilities needs to be based on individuals with disabilities,as the method of group work,and community resources as the support,and the advantages of integrating the three aspects should form a stable structure,at the same time,the individualization and particularity of the disabled should be paid attention to by snobbery.The complete intervention process of this study can provide a practical model for disabled people's services in other regions,as well as practical countermeasures and methods for related research.
