Comparison Of Primary Language Textbooks Published By People Educational Press And S Press

Primary language textbooks are important material for children of learning Chinese language and cultivating language literacy. With a new round of curriculum reform, the textbooks situation of “one program and one edition” is broken, replaced by “one Program and multiple-editions”, and the written primary language textbooks around are full of divergent versions. Due to the different experiences and curriculum standards for language interpretation of textbook writers, each elementary school language textbook publishers mixed quality, which directly affects the effect of language teaching.This thesis selected two primary language textbooks – People educational press and S press for comparison,which is on the basis of the New Curriculum writing and used of a wider range. It is divided into four parts: the first, from the comparison for the written concept of the two sets of textbooks, it is found that each one have a distinct and complete written concept in spite of all using "language curriculum standards" as a guide. The second, from the comparison for the written system of the two sets of textbooks, it is found that the written systems are all of stage and convergence, and organizing units in accordance with the topic, but relatively speaking, writing systems of people educational press are more rigorous of S press, which is loose flexible. The third, structure of language textbooks is divided into four systems: model essay systems, knowledge systems, training systems, reading help systems. Two sets of textbooks were compared for four systems. On the basis of the first three parts of comparison, the fourth part give the analysis of the two sets of textbooks innovations, as well as recommendations for the preparation of textbooks.
