Under the new curriculum reform,the core idea of "student-centered development" has been put forward in the construction of geography discipline,emphasizing the students 'principal position in the process of education.The image system of geography textbooks,as a material for fully infiltrating and cultivating students' comprehensive geographical thinking in the process of geography teaching,should be compiled around the development of students' subject ability as the core.However,the current research on image system of geography textbooks has some problems,such as the weak status of middle school students and the biased research methods towards qualitative description rather than quantitative analysis of image system.Based on the comprehensive evaluation of the image system of the compulsory geography course 2 of Hunan Educational Press and the evaluation results,this study puts forward corresponding optimization suggestions in order to get better effect of the use of textbooks and provide practical guidance for the realization of educational goals.Based on the theories of pedagogy,educational psychology and cognitive development,combined with the analysis of the characteristics of senior high school students' psychological development law,this study establishes the evaluation index system of the textbook image system from the perspective of the former textbook evaluation theory model,and applies the hierarchical analysis.Analytical method and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method are used to evaluate the geography textbook of Hunan Educational Press(compulsory second course).Based on the evaluation results,the optimization strategy of the image system of compulsory second course of Hunan Educational Press is put forward.The main conclusions of the study are as follows: Firstly,the overall evaluation results of the consistency between the second image system of compulsory geography of Hunan Educational Press and the law of psychological development of senior high school students are in good agreement.Secondly,from the perspective of improving its conformity with the law of middle school students' psychological development,the design of image system in this edition of textbooks still needs to be strengthened in some aspects: 1.displaying geographic principles and laws in a diversified way to cultivate students' inquiry ability and subject ability;2.the conformity with students' existing cognitive level and cognitive law;3.the conformity with students' actual life in the degree of contact.Based on the principles of "student development as the core","teaching adaptability","scientific principle","artistic principle" and the results of comprehensive evaluation,this study puts forward optimization suggestions for the second compulsory image system of Hunan Educational Press: 1.Selecting image content to stimulate students' interest in learning;2.Optimizing image system design to suit students' cognitive level;3.Enriching image combination.Ways to improve students' subject ability.
