The leap of economy and the development of the times make the society put forward new requirements for skilled talents.This new requirement is reflected in two aspects: one is the quality of talents,the other is the quantity of talents.Under this background,the scale of secondary vocational education is expanding continuously,and it is glowing with vigorous vitality.However,at the same time of rapid development,it also exposes many problems,such as the teaching objectives are not clear enough,the teaching content is disconnected from the job tasks,the teaching design is unreasonable,and so on.If these problems can not be properly solved in a short time,it will restrict the development of secondary vocational schools and affect the quality of personnel training.In view of this situation,secondary vocational schools should firmly carry out teaching reform,increase the speed of curriculum construction,and constantly improve the quality of personnel training,which has a strong sense of the times and urgency.In view of this,the author will focus on the hotel service and management specialty in secondary vocational schools,and introduce "situational teaching method" into the "Front Office Service and Management" course,to explore the teaching design of this course in depth.This paper clarifies the background and significance of the topic,and establishes the research ideas and methods on the basis of a comprehensive review of the research status at home and abroad.Firstly,this paper defines the concepts involved in the research and elaborates on the advantages of introducing situational teaching method into this course and what kind of guarantee it needs,which lays a theoretical foundation for further research.Secondly,through interviews and surveys,to understand the teaching status of the course "Front Office Service and Management" in secondary vocational schools.The overall teaching situation of this course is good and has achieved certain educational results,but there are still some problems that can not be ignored,such as the lack of diversified teaching methods,the lack of student subject prominence,the need to improve practical teaching and so on.The reasons are analyzed from the aspects of too much emphasis on subject teaching,students' source and quality,and the lack of in-depth cooperation between schools and enterprises.Finally,the teaching design of this course is analyzed and explored.In the specific research process,taking "team reservation" as an example,this paper introduces how to implement situational teaching method in the teaching process.
