Since the theory of mathematical modeling was first introduced into China in the 1990 s,mathematical modeling education has been a hot topic in the field of education.In 2018,the Ministry of Education issued the General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition),which identified mathematical modeling as one of the core literacy elements of mathematics discipline,clarified the connotation of mathematical modeling,and required that "mathematical modeling activities and mathematical exploration activities" be set as the main line of curriculum content at this stage.The teaching material is an important carrier to implement the core literacy.Only a deep understanding of the teaching material and flexible use of the teaching material can make the core literacy really become the main line of teaching.This paper tries to figure out the adhibition of the mathematical modeling literacy by investigating the new textbook----the General High School Textbook,Mathematics(Human Education Version A).The specific research questions are:(1)using the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods;multi-dimensionally investigating and analysing the distribution and characteristics about the teaching content of implementing modeling literacy in mathematics teaching materials;(2)Based on the investigation and research,put forward teaching suggestions for the use of teaching materials.To solve the research issues,firstly,this paper defines the content of mathematical textbook modeling based on the requirements of the General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)for the core literacy of mathematical modeling.Referring to the framework of mathematical literacy,which is put forward by Professor Wang Guangming,an analysis framework suitable for the content of mathematical textbook modeling is constructed,including the analysis based on the situation dimension,the analysis based on the content dimension and the analysis based on the construction.After that,according to the framework,the paper classifies and statistics the new textbooks.And at the same time,it draws a conclusion through the quantitative and qualitative analysis.Finally,it puts forward suggestions for the textbook compilation teachers and the use of the new textbook.Through investigation and analysis,the distribution and characteristics of the content of mathematical modeling in this edition of teaching materials are obtained: the implementation of mathematical modeling literacy training runs through the whole process,and the content of mathematical modeling is mainly distributed in the main line of functions,probability and statistics,which are closely linked with reality.It also adopts the methods of combining gradually integrating with thematic design.The selection of situational materials is novel,extensive and rich in education.The textbook presents the content of mathematicl modeling in various ways and highlights mathematics Demonstration of modeling process and method.Based on the investigation conclusion,the paper puts forward some suggestions and enriches the content of mathematical modeling in geometry and algebra;further highlights the experience of mathematical modeling process.At the same time,it puts forward some suggestions on the use of teaching materials,which include analyzing the teaching materials,understanding the design intention of the teaching materials;enriching the teaching materials,creatively using the teaching materials;implementing the concept,and effectively carrying out mathematical modeling activities.
