The study was conducted with the aim to know the impact of career development on job satisfaction,the impact of career development on work output,the impact of career development on Eff.Org.Commitment,the impact of career development on turnover intention.The study took intrinsic motivation and perceived organizational support as a moderator between these variables.The study proposed some hypothesis based on the past literature and in order to testify them,the study also went through different kinds of analysis techniques and used analysis tools to falsify or accept the hypothesis.In this research,positivism research philosophy was used to minimize researcher's own interest and remove biasness in the study outcomes,the deductive research approach was used thus in context with a private firm of Pakistan.Quantitative research method was used for this research work.Explanatory research form is used;cross-sectional study was carried out.The selected population for this research study is the group of workers working in the Margalla Foods and Beverages Company.The workers,having enough experience,of the selected company were asked to fill the questionnaires and total considerable sample size was 316 individuals.The data was analyzed using the latest tools and techniques of SPSS,AMOS,CFA and SEM.Moreover,the results showed that the impact of career development on job satisfaction is significant,the impact of career development on work output is significant,the impact of career development on Eff.Org commitment is significant,and the impact of career development on turnover intention is significant.The moderation of intrinsic motivation and perceived organizational support was seen to be significant between all of the variables.The study has added valuable material to the theory can practically decrease the turnover intention and increase the job satisfaction and with the help of the study,policies regarding the career development programs can be formed.The study is limited regarding its sample size,specification and combination of the variables chosen.
