Inhibition control is considered by researchers as an important component of advanced cognitive functions such as executive funtion and cognitive control,and is specifically embodied as "in the process of maintaining an individual's attention to stimuli,Regulate behavior and cognition,and regulate the ability of unrelated stimuli to interfere with current tasks."A series of studies in the field of psychology have shown that Moderate Intensity Training,(MIT)can improve the level of physiological arousal in the cerebral cortex of individuals and promote the release of neurotransmitters such as acetylcholine in the cerebral cortex.Enhancing neurophysiological and psychological activities related to the ability to inhibit control,thereby producing the effect of strengthening the individual's ability to inhibit control.E-sports Gaming is a new form of sports derived from video games,Researchers have observed as early as the 21 st century that those who perform competitive action electronics The game player of the Action video game has a stronger ability to dynamically allocate attention resources,a stronger ability to suppress dominant reactions,and a higher working memory work efficiency.At present,there are also opinions that high-level e-sports athletes have extraordinary Cognitive control ability,so e-sports games also help to enhance the individual's ability to inhibit control,but empirical research on the effects of e-sports games on cognitive ability is still relatively rare.Therefore,in this study,combined with event-related potential(ERP)technology,a dual task paradigm consisting of letter recognition task and flanker side inhibition task was used to compare single medium-intensity aerobic exercise under different levels of working memory load And e-sports games to suppress the influence of control ability to verify whether e-sports gaming are as effective as aerobic exercise in training human cognitive functions,in order to explore the potential positive psychological benefits of e-sports,and to explore The application value of the field of knowledge training provides theoretical basis.In this study,a total of 30 female college students participated in our experiment.Participants were randomly assigned to the aerobics group and the e-sports game group for25-35 minutes of corresponding forms of exercise.After exercise,the inhibition control ability tests were performed under different working memory load levels,and behavioral data and EEG data were collected for offline analysis through computers and ERP equipment to compare the effects of the two types of exercise on the inhibition control ability.It was found that under the low working memory load,there was no significant difference in the performance of the flanker task between the e-sports game group and the aerobic group,but under higher working memory load,the performance of the e-sports game group was significantly higher than that Aerobic exercise group.This shows that a single e-sports game has the same effect on inhibiting control ability as medium-intensity aerobic exercise,and that e-sports games can help individuals improve the working efficiency of working memory and form a good cognitive resource allocation strategy.Maintain a certain level of suppression control ability under working memory load.Therefore,we believe that e-sports games can improve the individual's ability to inhibit and control,as well as aerobic exercise is an effective cognitive training method.
