In the era of rapid development of big data and information,educational informatization is an essential measure to promote teaching reform.Information technology means are constantly being updated,since the emergence of virtual reality technology,it has had a great impact on education,but also more and more attention in the field of education.Enhancing the integration of information technology and curriculum is the need of geography teaching development,but also the need of students' development,so it is necessary to explore the use of VR technology to carry out geography inquiry teaching activities in middle schools.Through the analysis of geography curriculum standard,teaching material content,VR technical characteristics and the relationship between geography inquiry teaching,VR technology is discussed.Appropriate and necessary in the content of geography inquiry teaching in middle school,and then summed up the teaching content of geography inquiry activities suitable for using VR technology in junior high school and senior high school.Through the analysis of text teaching design case and teaching video case,this paper studies the composition of inquiry activity plan,the goal design,the function of VR technology and the design strategy of inquiry activity using VR technology,and then summarizes and refines the design strategy of middle school geography inquiry activity based on VR technology.Six topics were selected from the content of geography teaching which is suitable for using VR technology to carry out inquiry activities,and six middle exploration based on VR technology were designed Research activity program,junior high school 2,senior high school 4,and selected two teaching cases for implementation.Through case analysis,case design and case implementation,the following conclusions are drawn:First,identified 70 is suitable for using the VR technology to the teaching content of middle school geography inquiry activity.according to the characteristics of VR technology and the requirements of geography teaching content in middle school for students' educational characteristics and functions,taking 6 geography teaching materials in middle school as the carrier,this paper puts forward that there are 34 teaching contents suitable for junior high school geography inquiry activities using VR technology,and 36 teaching contents suitable for senior high school geography inquiry activities.Second,the programme of geographical inquiry activities for secondary schools based on VR technology consists of the theme,objective,object,time and activity of the activity Dynamic location,activity preparation,activity process,activity evaluation,activity summary and reflection are composed of nine parts.Thirdly,six programs of geography inquiry activities in middle schools based on VR technology are designed,which are two in junior high school,the geographical significance of earth rotation and entering the United States;four in senior high school,including exploring the trajectory of earth evolution,natural factors affecting soil formation,exploring the principle of thermal circulation and the self-rescue and escape of natural disasters.Fourth,the design strategy of middle school geography inquiry activity based on VR technology 6: design the activity theme from the teaching content real scene and the geography practice simulation as the starting point,in order to cultivate the students' core accomplishment and geography The aim is to design ability is to design the activity goal,to prepare the activityfrom the students' learning needs and VR technical operation matters needing attention,to carry on the interactive experience design activity process of VR technology by task-driven way,to create the real situation of VR technology combined with various teaching methods to carry on the activity overall design,and to evaluate and summarize the activity based on the VR technology to enhance the students' inquiry consciousness and ability.
