This article mainly adopts the literature method,outlines the environment and environmental education,related concepts,and the development status and research status of environmental education at home and abroad.Based on the principles and objectives of environmental education and the requirements of "General High School Biology Curriculum Standard(Experimental)",the implementation is determined.Environmental education in five areas(ie: imparting environmental science knowledge,imparting environmental law knowledge,cultivating students' environmental awareness,establishing students' concept of sustainable development and improving students' environmental protection skills),and three compulsory high school biology textbooks(People's Education Edition)and In Elective Three,the knowledge points related to penetrating environmental education are sorted out,and relevant expansion suggestions are given.Studies have shown that there are abundant environmental education materials in high school biology textbooks and students' lives.It is feasible and valuable to carry out environmental education in biology teaching.Through the comparison of the questionnaire survey results before and after the implementation of environmental education and the results and analysis of the interviews,it was found that the students' environmental awareness and attitudes,students' basic knowledge of environmental education,and environmental protection norms have all improved significantly.
