Environmental education is an important method to improve people’s environmental consciousness. Junior high is not only a critical period of human growth and development, but also the formation of the world outlook and values. What’s more, in this period carrying out environmental education is crucial to enhance student awareness of environmental protection and strengthen environmental behavior. It is important to taking advantage of junior high school biology course and infiltrating environmental awareness education, which can make the students have a more keen interest in the study of biology and a deeper understanding of the knowledge of biology, but also further improve the students’ ability in inquiry learning and problem solving, etc., thus achieve the purpose of improving students’ awareness of responsibility,environmental protection innovation spirits and make students’value training and teaching requirements confidentially linked. The paper makes the design of the questionnaire and uses the methods of literature analysis and interviews. In order to understand the present situation of students’ environment awareness, our investigations were conducted in some junior school, such as Xia pu NO.1 junior school, and the conclusion is:students’ knowledge and environmental emotional reaches a higher level but environmental behavior is in a relatively lower level.Based on empirical analysis, in view of the principles that the equal importance is impacted on knowledge and action during the biology education and focusing on improving the environmental behavior, this paper further explores effective teaching strategy about the infiltration of environmental education in high school biology teaching.
