College students are the pillars of social progress and evolution,and play a very important role in promoting the development of politics,economics and culture.In recent years,due to academic pressure,employment pressure,self-positioning,and social adaptation barriers and other problems that have seriously affected college students' learning and life,the psychological health of college students has become an important issue that needs to be urgently addressed.Scholars at home and abroad have found that effective participation in sports is conducive to the improvement of mental health,and achievement motivation has a significant predictive effect on improving individual mental health.Therefore,through questionnaires and other methods,360 students of Inner Mongolia Normal University were used as research objects to study college students' sports participation behavior and achievement motivation and the relationship between them.This research will contribute to further promote the mental health of college students to find better behavioral paths and theoretical and practical methods.The results of the study are as follows:1.The survey result of overall sports participation behaviors of college students was 15.797±4.1947.Among them,the sports participation behaviors of college students majoring in science and physical education had a significant difference of p<0.01.The sports participation behaviors of college students majoring in liberal arts and physical education have a significant difference of p<0.01.There is no difference in sports participation between science majors and liberal arts college students p> 0.05.2.Sports participation behaviors of college students of different genders p<0.01,college students of different origins p<0.01,and sports participation behaviors of college students of only and non-only children p<0.01,all have extremely significant differences.3.The survey result of college students' overall achievement motivation was 1.565±8.4748.Among them,the motivation for the formation of science majors and liberal arts universities is p<0.01,which is extremely significant.The motivation for liberal arts and sports majors p <0.01 was extremely significant.The motivation of students of science universities and physical education universities was p> 0.05,and there was no difference.4.For college students of different genders,p<0.01,the achievement motivation has extremely significant differences.Only one child,non-single child college students,and colleges with different birthplaces have motivations of p> 0.05,which are not different.5.Through the analysis of the positive correlation between sports participation behavior and achievement motivation,the correlation coefficient of college students' sports participation behavior and achievement motivation was 0.191,of which A1?A2?A3?A4 were significantly related to MS,and A2?A3?A4?A5 were significantly related to Ma.The awareness of sports participation and participation in sports can better promote college students to form good achievement motivation.
