The book "sports physiology" clearly states that visual function can play a leading role in learning ball games. In the curriculum reform of basic education,it is emphasized to integrate information technology with subject curriculum. The basketball textbook also mentions that the modern technology teaching method should be included in the school basketball teaching method. In addition, the traditional teaching mode in the teaching of motor skills has the disadvantages of non intuitive feedback. With the update of electronic products and the increasingly powerful function of application software, the teaching method of using micro video to cultivate students' interest and improve the teaching quality is gradually favored by scholars.Nowadays, micro video has been widely used in the teaching process of various disciplines, especially in physical education, micro video has the effect that traditional teaching cannot replace in correcting the wrong technical actions.Through the development and utilization of the characteristics of the micro video, this study applies the micro video to the three stages of Basketball Technology Teaching: pre class preview,in class feedback and after class review. The purpose is to cultivate students' interest in the basketball class, improve the quality of students' basketball technology actions and the achievement of technical test indicators. This research mainly adopts the methods of literature, questionnaire, experiment and mathematical statistics.Taking the third class of 17 level leisure sports major and the second class of 17 level social sports major of Capital Institute of physical education as the experimental objects, the comparative teaching experiment of basketball technology course for nine weeks was carried out with micro video teaching mode and traditional teaching mode respectively. In the process of comparative teaching experiment, micro videos of technical actions corresponding to the course content are sent to the students in the experimental class before the class. In the class, the technical actions made by the students are photographed and fed back to the students. After the class, these micro videos are edited and processed and then sent to the wechat communication group for review. After the experiment, through the processing and analysis of the data of students' examination results and the data of students' questionnaires, the following conclusions are drawn:1 In the technology teaching of basketball elective course of Capital Institute of physical education, the application of micro video teaching is more conducive to arouse students' curiosity and interest in learning than traditional teaching, and can more effectively improve students' interest in basketball course.2 In the teaching of Basketball Elective Course Technology in Capital Institute of physical education, the use of the intuitive characteristics of micro video makes students more clear about the structure of technical action and the order of completion.Compared with traditional teaching,it can more effectively improve the quality of students' basketball technical action.3 In the technical teaching of basketball elective course of Capital Institute of physical education, the application of micro video in teaching can not only improve the quality of students' slide skills, but also reduce the loss of time caused by wrong technical actions,so as to improve the standard performance of slide in the restricted area. However, compared with the traditional teaching, the micro video teaching has no obvious advantage in the test results of half court dribbling,three-point dribbling and layup, half court dribbling and layup, free throw line shooting in place, and the whole field forward and backward turn dribbling and layup.
