Appropriateness of physical education teaching method refers to the appropriateness between the teaching methods adopted by physical education teachers and the teaching objectives,teaching materials and students' learning situation in the teaching process.Appropriate physical education teaching methods give full play to the initiative of students in learning,so that they can enjoy the fun of sports while enhancing physical fitness and mastering skills,while accumulating the corresponding sports cultural literacy while learning sports knowledge,can truly fall in love with sports Lessons,to develop the habit of physical exercise,it is essential to form the ability and attitude of lifelong sports.This study takes the fitness of the junior high school physical education methods in Yangpu District of Shanghai as the research object,and applies the methods of literature,questionnaires,field observation,and mathematical statistics to the fitness of the junior high school physical education methods in Yangpu District of Shanghai.Carry out comprehensive research to provide a theoretical reference for improving the quality of physical education in Shanghai.The conclusions obtained by studying this article are as follows:1.Starting from the cognition of the appropriateness of teaching methods,teachers and students have a better understanding of the importance of the appropriateness of teaching methods,but the overall cognition of the appropriateness is poor.2.Teaching methods and fitness,knowledge and skill goals are more appropriate,but they are generally appropriate to the students' emotional development and ability development goals,especially the need to improve the appropriateness of the classroom atmosphere and teacher-student relationship.3.The appropriateness of the teaching methods and the characteristics of the teaching materials is better,but in the importance and difficulty of the appropriate teaching materials,teachers also need to strengthen the research on teaching methods and teaching sequences.4.Teaching methods are generally more appropriate to students' learning situation,but in view of the complexity of junior high school students' psychology and thinking,teachers need to strengthen further research on the selection of teaching methods.5.Judging from the order of "teaching" and "learning",teachers lack understanding of the advancement of "learning",and most of them choose to teach before learning when choosing teaching methods.
