Objectives:In the context of healthy China,the research team designed and created a diabolo fitness routine according to the physiological characteristics of the elderly.The purpose of this study is to: choose the folk traditional sports project,empty bamboo as the experimental intervention,in middle-aged and old people as test subjects,it can be divided into the experimental group and control group,12 weeks after diabolo movement,observe and test the body shape,body function and physical quality of old people,bone strength changes,as well as the experimental group in the state of the anxiety and depression in the elderly,analysis of raw physical meaning of each parameter to evaluate the effectiveness of diabolo fitness routines,help the elderly high participate in physical exercise actively,for a more scientific way to tone up your body at the same time promoting folk traditional sports.Methods:The subjects of this study were 65 middle-aged and elderly people,including 17 males and 48 females,recruited from the community cultural center of Changhai street,Yangpu district,Shanghai.They were randomly divided into experimental group(N = 35)and control group(N = 30).All the participants had no regular exercise for a long time,and all the participants were surveyed on the basic situation,anxiety self-rating scale,depression self-rating scale,excluding the exercise taboo,and all of them signed the informed consent of exercisers before the start of the experiment.In the week before and the week after the 12-week diabolo exercise intervention,all subjects in the experimental group and control group were given physical fitness indicators,including body shape indicators: height,weight,body mass index(BMI).Body function indicators: high pressure,low pressure,quiet heart rate,lung capacity,maximum oxygen uptake;Physical quality indicators: grip strength,forward bend of the sitting body,closed eyes and foot station,reaction time,range of motion of the hip joint,range of motion of the shoulder joint;Body bone strength: bone density and other 15 indicators;Moreover,35 subjects in the experimental group were tested before and after the zung self-rating scale for anxiety and depression,and the data were obtained for statistical analysis.When the data were in line with the normal distribution,independent sample T test was used for inter-group differences,and paired sample T test was used for intra-group differences.P<0.05 indicated significant statistical significance.Results:1.By practicing diabolo fitness routine for 12 weeks,the body weight and BMI of the experimental group were significantly improved(P<0.05),and there was no significant change in height(P>0.05),while there was no significant decrease in body weight and BMI of the control group.2.12 weeks of diabolo fitness routine significantly improved the lung capacity,maximal oxygen uptake and heart rate of middle-aged and elderly people(P<0.05).High and low pressure showed significant improvement(P<0.01).3.The diabolos fitness sets at 12 weeks showed significant differences in grip strength,closed eyes,one-legged station,sitting body forward flexion,and range of motion of shoulder joint in middle-aged and elderly people(P<0.05),and there were significant differences in reaction time and range of motion of hip joint(P<0.01).In the control group,there was a small increase or decrease in the physical fitness index,but there was no significant difference.4.12 weeks of diabolo fitness routine had no significant effect on bone mineral density in middle-aged and elderly people(P>0.05).The t-value level of bone mineral density before and after the experiment group decreased relatively,while the z-value level increased significantly.The T value of bone mineral density in the control group was basically unchanged,while the Z value was relatively decreased.The bone hardness of the experimental group was better than that of the control group.5.After the intervention of diabolo fitness routine for 12 weeks,the anxiety state of middle-aged and elderly people was significantly improved(P<0.05).Depression was significantly improved(P<0.01).Conclusions:1.The 12-week diabolo exercise routine can effectively adjust the weight and BMI of middle and old people,which is conducive to maintaining a healthy weight and improving body shape.2.The diabolo fitness routine for 12 weeks can effectively regulate the lung capacity,maximum oxygen uptake,heart rate and blood pressure of middle-aged and elderly people,and promote their cardiorespiratory endurance and cardiovascular function.3.The 12-week diabolo fitness routine can effectively improve the grip strength,closed eyes,one-legged station,sitting body forward flexion,range of motion of shoulder joint,range of motion of hip joint,and reaction,which can help to improve balance,muscle strength,reaction ability and flexibility of the elderly.4.The 12-week diabolo fitness routine can protect the t-value and z-value of bone density in middle-aged and elderly people,which is conducive to maintaining the bone density at a normal level and slowing down the aging speed of the body.5.Through the 12-week exercise of diabolo fitness routine,build a communication platform for the middle-aged and the elderly,transfer the bad anxiety and depression,establish a positive attitude,and maintain mental health.6.Diabolo fitness routine is an effective exercise intervention method for middleaged and elderly people,which increases their enthusiasm for physical exercise and responds to the requirements of healthy China.
