As the top of the national education system,postgraduate education is the main way to cultivate high-level specialized talents.Emphasizing postgraduate education is the way to achieve the "Double First-Class" initiative and the connotative development of higher education.As the first person responsible for postgraduate education,the supervisor is responsible for the guidance of graduate students in the frontier of the discipline,the guidance of scientific research methods and the teaching of academic norms.The quality of academic guidance directly affects the level of postgraduate education.From the perspective of students,exploring the expectations and experiences of graduate students on the academic guidance responsibilities of the supervisors can more intuitively discover the problems in the academic guidance of the supervisors,so that the supervisors can improve their guidance and improve the quality of postgraduate training.On the basis of collating relevant literatures,this study divides the academic guidance responsibilities of graduate supervisors into five dimensions: academic guidance,academic psychological guidance,essay guidance,academic ethics guidance,and career guidance,and adopts questionnaires to more than six hundred graduate students.The expectations and actual feelings in these five dimensions were investigated.The survey results show that in the academic guidance responsibilities,the degree of expectation of graduate students is significantly different from the actual level of experience,and the degree of expectation is significantly higher than the actual level of experience.To the extent expected,Degree in academic psychological guidance have significant differences;faculty types have significant differences in essay guidance and academic ethics guidance;grades have significant differences in career guidance.In terms of actual experience,the gender and degree of graduate students are significantly different in the overall academic guidance perception;the actual feelings of academic type guida nce and academic moral guidance are significantly different;the actual feeling of academi c level psychological guidance,the degree shows a significant difference.Finally,in order to make the academic guidance behaviors of the supervisors closer to the expectations of graduate students,the paper puts forward the following suggestions.First of all,as far as the graduate level is concerned,on the one hand,graduate students should actively communicate with the supervisor to show their own needs,on the other hand,they should be independent and not overly dependent on the supervisor.As far as the supervisor level is concerned,the supervisor should continue to demonstrate academic ethics guidance and essay guidance;improve the academic psychological guidance,academic guidance and career guidance as a presentation;consider the graduate traits to provide appropriate academic guidance s.As far as the school level is concerned,colleges and universities should strengthen the construction of postgraduate supervisors and provide resources for supervisor guidance.
