The deepening of the concept of service-oriented government puts forward higher requirements for the construction of government websites.X District is the centre area of Shanghai,which has a long history of education and rich educational resources.The government service of Bureau of Education in X District is closely related to the people's livelihood.Its official website is not only an important window to show the education standards of X District,but also an important business card for Shanghai's educational development and government service.The paper took the website of Bureau of Education in X District as the research object to research its public satisfaction and its influence factors,in order to enhance its satisfaction level.Based on the view of public satisfaction,guided by the three functions of service oriented government websites,combined with the actual situation of the official website,the public satisfaction model,the measurement index and the questionnaire were designed.The questionnaire was released through onlinesurvey.Through questionnaire investigation,the survey dates were collected for statistical analysis.The study found out that the overall satisfaction score for the website is 3.52,which was in the middle of "general" and "comparatively satisfactory",far from reaching the "very satisfactory" level,indicating that the public satisfaction of the website should be improved further more.And in each sections,the satisfaction evaluation of information disclosure was 3.76,higher than the overall satisfaction score,and the score of the other three sections were lower than 3.5.In the path analysis the paper found out that the perceived quality and the image of Bureau of Education in X District have the significant positive impact on the satisfaction of the website,while the public expectation has no significant impact on the public satisfaction of the website,and the public satisfaction of the website has the significant positive impact on the public trust on the government department.Further research showed that the impact of the perceived quality from high to low are information disclosure,interactive communication,online administration and website performance.According to the results,the paper put forward some suggestions from two aspects: improving the perceived quality of the website and improving the image of Bureau of Education in X District.From the aspect of improving the perceived quality,it was suggested to improve the overall management level of websites,and through quadrant diagram analysis,it was proposed that we should continue to maintain the advantages of information disclosure,focus onimproving the interactive communication and online administration,and optimize the function of the website.From the aspect of improving the image of Bureau of Education in X District,we should strengthen the service intention,maintain the image of the department and enhance propagation on the image of government departments.The proposal has been affirmed by the relevant leaders.
