Senior high school is a key period in life.The college entrance examination puts great psychological pressure on high school students.Heavy study tasks,frequent examinations,earnest hopes from teachers and their future uncertainties will also increase invisible pressure to high school students.Meanwhile,self-awareness also develops rapidly during the senior high school years.The self-identity development and personality development in this period play an important part in the future development of life.Their self-acceptance level and social anxiety level directly affect academic ability and social adaptation.Social anxiety in high school may be related to self-identity,and self-acceptance may play an mediating role.What is the present situation of self-identity,self-acceptance,and social anxiety among high school students? This is the focus of this study.In this study,senior high school students were selected as the research object,using the Self-Identity Objectivity measurement Questionnaire(Second Edition)Short Version written by Wang Shuqing(2013),and the Self Acceptance Questionnaire written by Gao Wenfeng and Cong Zhong(1999)".Leary' three sets of Interaction Anxiousness Scale(1983)were used as research tools.The collected data is processed by software SPSS 23 for descriptive statistics,analysis of variance,correlation analysis and regression analysis,aiming to probe into the general characteristics and relationships of self-identity status,self-acceptance and social anxiety.The study also aims to probe into the mediating role of self-identity between self-identity status and social anxiety.Through research,the following main results were obtained:1.The distribution of identity statuses of high school students is imbalanced,moratorium has the largest number while achievement is the least in number,the number of diffusion and foreclosure is between moratorium and achievement.2.The degree of self-acceptance is in the middle level,which has no difference between different grades,genders and the origins.3.The degree of social anxiety is in the middle level,which also has no difference between different grades,genders and the origins.4.(Pairwise correlation)There exists striking positive correlation between self-identity status and self-acceptance but the negative correlation between self-acceptance and social anxiety.5.Self-acceptance has a significant mediating effect between self-identity and social anxiety.
