Ancient poetry reading is an important part of the senior high school Chinese textbook.In the process of learning ancient poetry,students can feel the language charm of ancient poetry,and then enhance the sense of national identity and cultural identity,implement the basic task of "cultivating people by virtue",and finally truly improve their Chinese literacy.However,in the process of teaching,there are some problems,such as teachers' text interpretation is not in place,students' interest is low and so on.As a result,the current situation of ancient poetry teaching in senior high school is not optimistic,and the essence of ancient poetry is not well understood by students.Based on this,the author uses the theory and method of "text close reading" of the New Criticism School of Britain and the United States and the theory and method of "text close reading" in China for reference to explore the application of "text close reading" theory in the teaching of ancient poetry in Senior High School,trying to fundamentally arouse the students' interest in reading ancient poetry and improve the teachers' ability of text interpretation and students' reading ability.The thesis consists of four parts.The introduction part mainly introduces the origin and significance of the research,and summarizes the teaching research of ancient poetry under the guidance of "close reading of the text".The first chapter mainly analyzes the selection of ancient Chinese poetry textbooks and examination papers in senior high school,and uses the questionnaire method to investigate the current situation of ancient poetry teaching in senior high school,pointing out that there are some problems in the current ancient poetry reading teaching,such as students' lack of interest,teachers' shallow interpretation and so on.The second chapter mainly introduces the relevant content of the theory of "close reading of text",including the theory of close reading of new criticism in Britain and America and the theory of close reading of text in the context of Chinese curriculum in China.At the same time,it analyzes the necessity of the theory of "close reading of text" in the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school.The third chapter elaborates the application strategies of the theory of close reading in the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school,including the following three aspects: grasping the integrity of the text,the depth of reading the text,giving full play to the subjectivity of the students,close reading the language,close reading the emotion,close reading the structure,close reading the expression skills and so on,as well as the close reading steps of plain reading,close reading,understanding reading and back reading,combined with senior high school The text of ancient poetry in the textbook is analyzed.
