Reading teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching.Improving students' Chinese reading ability is of great help to students' Chinese learning.As a special part of reading teaching,ancient poetry teaching can effectively improve students' Chinese reading ability and promote their development because of its short space and rich connotation.It is precisely because of the special value of ancient poetry teaching in Chinese reading teaching,so the junior high school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of education have added the contents of ancient poetry,which shows the importance of ancient poetry teaching.However,Chinese teachers do not attach great importance to ancient poetry,students lack interest in poetry learning and teachers' teaching methods of mechanical indoctrination,which makes the teaching of ancient poetry in a dilemma and difficult to play its due teaching value.The application of text close reading in the teaching of ancient poetry,to a certain extent,alleviates the plight of ancient poetry teaching,but the initial combination of theory and practice,there are also many problems.In terms of teachers,most Chinese teachers do not pay enough attention to the theoretical knowledge of close reading,and their ability of close reading is not enough,which leads to the lack of literacy of close reading poetry.At the same time,teachers excessively use the moving and patterned teaching methods in teaching,which leads to the utilitarian development of teaching.As for the students,most of them are not only lack of interest in poetry learning,resulting in less accumulation of poetry knowledge,but also do not understand the close reading theory and lack of corresponding close reading method guidance.At the same time,students' self reflection ability is poor,unable to sublimate in the process of reading.These problems are not conducive to give full play to the value of text close reading theory in junior high school ancient poetry teaching,but also hinder the development of Chinese reading teaching to a certain extent.In view of the above problems,on the basis of theory and practice,the paper puts forward some strategies for the application of text reading in the teaching of ancient poetry in junior high school.The paper mainly discusses from three aspects: first,to establish clear theory of poetry text reading,to strengthen theoretical learning and update teaching concept;second,teachers and students form excellent poetry reading ability,improve the ability of teachers' text reading and students' individual reading ability;third,organize efficient teaching practice of poetry text reading,taste poetry language,taste expression and taste emotion.At the same time,according to the above strategies,the representative "thatched house is broken by autumn wind" is selected for the text analysis in the Chinese Textbooks of junior high school,and the teaching design is carried out on the basis of detailed reading analysis and the teaching process is reflected.
