The ancient poetry has been passed on for thousands of years.It has rich traditional culture,historical imprint and national feelings.It is an important carrier of the implementation of traditional culture education,aesthetic education and emotional education.However,the teaching of ancient poetry requires teachers to have the quality of ancient poetry,the ability to control the teaching of ancient poetry,and the corresponding teaching concept,as well as the cooperation of other conditions.Influenced by many factors,the effect of implementing ancient poetry teaching in different areas is different.This paper takes a primary school as an example to investigate and analyze the current situation of ancient poetry teaching,find out the problems,find out the reasons and put forward the improvement strategies.In this study,we first use the questionnaire survey method to investigate the primary school Chinese teachers and students,and analyze the data to find the existing problems of ancient poetry teaching.According to the investigation,the existing problems are as follows: the teaching goal is focused on the knowledge level of ancient poetry;the reading and recitation of ancient poetry is lack of rhythm;the aesthetic teaching of ancient poetry is separated from the meaning;the deep humanistic emotion education is lack;the teaching method is single;the teaching effect of ancient poetry is not ideal.Then through the investigation method and interview method to analyze the influencing factors in the ancient poetry teaching,we found that the influencing factors are exam oriented education affecting the ancient poetry teaching;teachers' reading and reciting teaching demonstration guidance needs to be in-depth;teachers' lack of in-depth research on the ancient poetry aesthetic teaching;humanistic emotional penetration education lacks the process of development and moving;teachers' teaching methods lack of control ability affecting the teaching 。 The comprehensive effects of these factors affect the development of ancient poetry teaching in primary schools.According to the requirements of compulsory Chinese course standard for ancient poetry teaching and Ye Jiaying's theory of ancient poetry teaching,this paper puts forward the improvement strategies of ancient poetry teaching in primary schools:First,to re understand the teaching objectives with the subject literacy as the core.Second,reading and reciting should pay equal attention to rhythm,emotion and basic knowledge.Third,aesthetic education runs through the three links of sense,reason and table.Fourth,the emotional education of ancient poetry is embellished and permeated.Fifth,to construct the integration of various teaching methods of ancient poetry.
