This paper analyzes the mechanism of gender preference from a sociological perspective by exploring the behavior of family resource possession and intergenerational distribution.To explore how the behavior of modern urban families is influenced by the traditional patrilineal structure to reproduce in the local context.The specific chapter setting and contents of this paper are as follows:The introduction of this paper includes the research background and practical significance of this paper,the literature review and the author's comments at home and abroad,the research content and methods,the innovation of this paper and the research challenges.The first chapter is the theoretical analysis of gender preference in family resource possession and intergenerational distribution.This chapter first expounds the concept of related professional words.Secondly,it introduces the social gender theory and Chinese patriarchy tradition.The influence of the solidified gender temperament on the construction of both sexes is explained in detail,and the reproduction of paternal structure is carried out through the socialization of gender.Finally,from the perspective of intergenerational gender roles,the paper discusses the influencing mechanism and approach of gender preference on family resource possession and intergenerational distribution.The second chapter is the data,variable selection and sample statistical description.The survey method and sampling are described.The basic information of data source and sample is introduced.The treatment of independent variables,explained variables and control variables is described in detail.The statistical description results of the samples were analyzed.The third chapter is the empirical analysis of this paper.The data collected from the household non-material resources possession and the intergenerational distribution of material resources were regressed to test whether the results were consistent with the hypothesis.The last part is the conclusion of this paper,which draws a conclusion according to the analysis results and points out the shortcomings of the research.
