Kindergarten to primary school is an important turning point in early life.How to help senior class children adapt to the life and study of primary school has been concerned by parents and society.In the face of the transition from kindergarten to primary school,some parents put too much emphasis on knowledge preparation at the stage of senior classes,transferring their children from kindergarten to various educational institutions that focus on knowledge teaching in primary schools,and studying relevant primary school courses in advance,so as to let their children "win at the starting line," It neglects the preparation of children's key qualities such as physical and mental health,learning quality and social development.However,some Early Childhood Link Training Institutions,pre-school classes,private kindergartens and other institutions take advantage of parents' need and expectation of "not letting their children lose at the starting line" to promote the advantages of early learning for senior classes of young children,to attract the attention of parents with various characteristics of teaching has become the main reason for the loss of large classes of children in kindergarten.To prevent the loss of large classes of children in kindergartens,to ensure that children receive scientific education in accordance with the law of their physical and mental development at the stage of senior classes,and to make full preparation in physical and mental aspects for the next stage of study and life,it is necessary for kindergartens,families and primary schools to work together to form a joint force,so that children can fully grasp the perceptual experience,at the same time,cultivate their learning quality,promote the social development of children,and make good preparation for their school entrance.In order to probe into the causes of the phenomenon of the loss of senior classes of children in kindergartens.This study selected two kindergartens and investigated the current situation of the loss of senior classes of children in kindergartens by using the method of questionnaire survey and interview,probe into the causes of theproblems and put forward suggestions for improvement.Conclusions we draw from this research are listed below:1.The severity of children losing phenomenon are different in these two kinds of kindergarten.Public kindergartens have a higher loss rate.2.The main destinations of the loss children include private kindergartens,pre-school classes and child-to-child cohesion institutions;3.The reason that causes the loss of kindergarten children comes from three aspects: kindergarten,family and elementary school.We proposed the following countermeasures based on the results of our research:1.Kindergartens need to communicate with parents and promote kindergarten-family co-educating.2.Parents need to develop a good concept of education and treat the transition between kindergarten and elementary school rationally.3.Elementary schools need to adjust the teaching progress basing on the ability of students,and insist on Zero-based teaching.4.Relevant government departments need to strengthen control on transition classes,avoiding the trend of teaching elementary school courses in advance.
