Along with the progress of the new curriculum reform,the state pays more attention to the quality education of compulsory education,and the primary and secondary schools and parents of students also respond positively to the trend of curriculum reform and strongly advocate the opening of various extracurricular interest teaching activities.One of the most popular is the study of instrumental music.Family and school focus on cultivating students'instrumental ability,because instrumental learning can improve students' comprehensive musical literacy in all aspects.In order to enable more students to participate actively in instrumental music playing activities,many primary and secondary schools in China have set up the second class of instrumental ensemble in community form.In order to understand the actual situation of instrumental ensemble teaching,the author selected an ordinary primary school in Shandong Province as the location and object to carry out the investigation practice.Through questionnaire survey and interview method,observation method and so on,it is found that the present situation of instrumental ensemble teaching has many problems which restrict the efficient progress of instrumental ensemble teaching,and it is necessary to try new educational measures to improve it in time.In the author's understanding of Orff's teaching method,one of the world famous music teaching methods,it is found that some of the educational ideas in this foreign teaching method will be of great help to the instrumental ensemble teaching in our country if they are reasonably applied locally.In view of the shortcomings of the traditional instrumental music teaching mode in schools,combined with the existing theoretical research,this paper explains several basic ideas of Orff's teaching method,and integrates Orff's teaching method into primary school instrumental ensemble teaching according to some concepts of Orff's music education,taking the characteristics of Orff's music teaching method following the rules of children's cognition and physical and mental development as the starting point,To explore the effectiveness of this combination teaching method for students' mastery of rhythm,reading spectrum and stimulating students' interest in instrumental music learning,musical emotion perception,performance,creativity and collective cooperation ability.After a period of real lesson case teaching practice to summarize and analyze the teaching results,so as to provide some reference value for the integration of Orff's teaching method in instrumental ensemble teaching,and further put forward some ideas and prospects for the scientific and reasonable integration of the world excellent teaching method into the future music education of primary and secondary schools in China.
