This study takes the influence of plyometric training on the sensitivity of young badminton players as the research object. In this study,24 young badminton players aged 16-18 years in Jilin sports school were selected as the experimental subjects. The subjects were randomly divided into two groups, using 8-week plyometric in training and traditional resistance strength training, the subjects' response ability to external stimulation(hexagon reaction ball test),ability to change movement(standing and lying up,and prone standing up),ability to change direction rapidly(Illinois and cross direction running)and coordination("repeated crossing" and "quadrant jump test")were selected as sensitive indicators to evaluate their sensitive quality. The results show that:1.The plyometric training can effectively improve the young badminton players' quick response ability, which is reflected in the significant improvement of the test results of the hexagon reaction ball after 8 weeks' experiment of the badminton players adopting the plyometric training program.2.The plyometric training can effectively improve the young badminton players' ability of changing movement, which is manifested in the significant improvement of the performance of the standing and lying support experiment and the prone and standing up test after 8 weeks' experiment of the badminton players using the plyometric training program, and is significantly better than the control group badminton players using the traditional resistance training program.3.The ability of changing direction of young badminton players can be effectively improved by the plyometric training program. The results of Illinois test and cross direction change test after 8 weeks' experiment of badminton players using The plyometric training program are significantly higher than those before the experiment(P < 0.05),and significantly better than those of the control group badminton players using the traditional resistance training program(P < 0.05).4.The plyometric training can effectively improve the young badminton players' flexible coordination ability, which is shown in the cross test and quadrant jump test results of the badminton players who adopt the plyometric training program after 8 weeks' experiment, which are significantly different from those before the experiment(P < 0.05),and the plyometric training is better than the traditional resistance training in the range of improving the flexible coordination ability training.
