Objective: This article aims to study the relationship and interaction between high school male tennis players' agility and plyometric training.Taking tennis agility as the starting point, students in the high school tennis class of Minhang Foreign Language Middle School of Shanghai International Studies University were selected as the subjects, and the subjects were subjected to plyometric training to analyze the improvement of the subjects' sports indicators and the effect of tennis agility. This will lay a theoretical foundation for campus tennis training, and find more scientific and efficient training methods for the sensitive quality of tennis training and eventually improve students' ability of playing tennis.Research method: This article uses literature methods, experimental methods, and mathematical statistics to explore the impact of plyometric training on the sensitive quality of high school tennis class students.44 students from the above classes were selected as subjects, using random sampling method,22 students were chosen for plyometric training, and the other 22 students were chosen for general agility training. Then T-shaped running test, pro test, and fan running test,side-sliding running straight-line sprint test were used as a test indicator of special sensitivity. After 12 weeks of training, the two groups were tested on the agility performance, and the impact of different training methods on the sensitivity of high school male students' tennis special class were compared and analyzed. Results: The whole experiment process is divided into 3 stages. The first training stage mainly focuses on the development of speed quality, the second training stage mainly develops the explosive power of the lower limbs, and the third training stage mainly focuses on the development of the ability to quickly change direction. After each stage of training, the test scores of the two sets of indicators were compared and analyzed. Finally,it was found that the test scores of the two groups had improved after the first stage of training, but the difference analysis of the scores of the two groups showed no significant difference(P>0.05).After the second stage of training, various test scores began to improve significantly. The pro test scores,T-shaped running test scores, and side-sliding running straight-line sprint test scores of the two groups showed significant differences(P<0.05),but fan-shaped running test did not show this difference. After the final stage of training, the differences in the pro test scores,T-shaped running test scores, and side-sliding running straight-line sprint test scores between the two groups were very significant(P<0.01),but there was still no such difference in fan running test scores(P>0.05).The reason for this result may be that there are many factors that affect the performance of the fan-shaped running test, such as the test site problems and the total distance of the test. This test is the longest test among the 4 tests, and the test with the most sudden stops and sudden turns. This puts forward higher requirements on the speed, explosiveness, and rapid direction change ability of the tested students. Conclusion: Plyometric training can effectively improve speed, lower limb explosiveness, and rapid change of direction ability,so as to effectively improve agility. Therefore, the effect of plyometric training is better than conventional training. This kind of training should be used frequently in training.
