In this research,2100 students from Fujian Fuzhou four Vocational College were selected as the research objects.The relationships among professional identity,academic self-efficacy and academic burnout of Vocational College students were discussed by using the “College Students' Professional Identity Scale,”“College Students' Academic Self-Efficacy Scale” and “College Students' Academic Burnout Scale.” The purpose of the research was to arouse attention and emphasis on the Vocational College Students' academic burnout to improve the professional identity and academic self-efficacy of the vocational students and promote their healthy growth.The main findings are as follows:(1)There are significant differences in gender,whether they are only children,majors ' choice and employment prospects of the Vocational College students 'professional identity.About students' professional identity,girls are better than boys,non-only children have a higher sense of professional identity than that only-child.And also,the ones with self-chosen majors have a higher sense of professional identity than the ones with non-self-chosen majors.Popular majors have higher professional identity than those with less popular majors while there is no significant difference in grade.(2)The Vocational College students' academic self-efficacy has significant differences in gender,whether they are only children,majors' choice and employment prospects.About students ' academic self-efficacy,boys are better than girls,the only-child have a higher sense of academic-efficacy than those only-children.And also,the ones with self-chosen majors have higher academic efficacy than the ones with non-self-chosen majors.Popular majors have a higher sense of academic efficacy than those with less popular majors while there is no significant difference in grade.(3)The Vocational College students' academic burnout has significant differences in grade,majors' choice and employment prospects.About students' academic burnout,sophomores ' academic burnout is better than freshmen ' s.And also,the ones with non-self-chosen majors are more burned out than the ones with self-chosen majors.Students with less popular majors are more burned out than those with popular majorswhile there is no significant difference in gender,and whether they are only children.(4)There are two significant correlations between professional identity,academic self-efficacy,and academic burnout.Specifically,professional identity and academic self-efficacy are negatively correlated with academic burnout,while professional identity and academic self-efficacy are positively correlated.(5)Professional identity and academic self-efficacy of the Vocational College students both play a negative predictive role on academic burnout,and the behavioral dimensions of the two have the greatest variance in explaining academic burnout.Professional identity has a positive predictive effect on academic self-efficacy.Academic self-efficacy plays a mediating role between professional identity and academic burnout.To conclude:(1)The overall level of the professional identity of the Vocational College students is high,but the overall level of academic self-efficacy is low,and academic burnout is widespread.(2)Professional identity of the Vocational College students has a positive predictive effect on academic self-efficacy.(3)Professional identity and academic self-efficacy of the Vocational College students play a negative predictive role on academic burnout.(4)The Vocational students' academic self-efficacy plays a mediating role between professional identity and academic burnout.
