In recent years,more and more children with intellectual disabilities have been classified as regular students,and they have been enrolled in ordinary schools,which has promoted the development of integrated education in China.However,due to the limitations of mental retardation in attending children's intelligence,the social support of children attending regular classes is relatively weak,and they are also in a relatively“awkward” situation in ordinary schools.Mainly reflected in the following aspects: in the school,you may encounter the neglect of teachers,the ridicule,exclusion,and even bullying of the peer group;in the family,may be ignored by the parents,miss the best rehabilitation and opportunity to intervene;in the community,there may be varying degrees of prejudice and discussion from community residents.The social support network of children with mental disorders attending regular classes is difficult to function properly,and it also causes problems for the growth of children attending classes.Therefore,this study selects two representative children with mental disorders who attended regular classes as cases.and uses the professional strength of social work to study the support system of children with mental retardation.It is found that low self-esteem becomes an important factor in establishing relationship.Family support has become the key to the social support of the client,the type of living environment affects the utilization of social support,and the impact of different experiences on social life is different.However,intervening in the relevant fields has requirements for the quality of social workers,and also requires social work itself.Therefore,it is necessary to further explore the field of social work involved in children attending regular classes,and the professional qualities of social workers involved in children attending regular classes should be promoted.Step out of a path that suits China's national conditions and suits the development of education in the classroom.
