In 2014,the college entrance examination reform plan aimed at “increasing student choice and promoting scientific talent selection” was introduced;in 2019,the national document clearly stated that career education should be carried out in various ways in the high school stage;and the General High School Chemistry Course Standard(2017 Edition)stated that the orientation of ordinary high school education is to adapt students to social life,higher education and career development and to lay the foundation for students' lifelong development.Aimed at the current situation of China's college entrance examination,integrating career education into subject teaching can provide students with professional and career materials step by step.The implementation is simple and takes up a short time,which will not affect the progress of teaching.It is not only of great significance for students to choose subjects and fill in voluntary reports,but also the needs of students,subjects and social development.Through literature research,the author defines related concepts such as career education,and understands the research status and infiltration of career education in chemistry teaching at home and abroad.On this basis,the questionnaire survey method and interview method are used to investigate the status quo of the implementation,needs,and benefits of career education in teaching from both teachers and students.On the basis of collating the vocational education content of chemistry compulsory textbooks for high school in China and mainstream textbooks(Chemistry: Concepts and Applications)in American high school,according to the theme of General High School Chemistry Course Standard(2017 Edition)for compulsory courses,compare and analyze the content of career education in Chinese and American textbooks and get inspiration.In combination with the difficulties faced by teachers and students in practical teaching,five strategies for infiltrating career education in high school chemistry teaching are proposed:echoing the teaching content with each other;processing materials rationally to improve teaching effectiveness;solving hot issues and breaking professional understanding;using cutting-edge technology materials,infiltrating professional achievements;carrying out a variety of classroom activities to gain professional experience.During the internship in Gaizhou A High School,the strategy was applied to teaching practice,and the results of theanalysis were analyzed through student surveys and teacher evaluations.The results show that:the penetration of career education in chemistry teaching has a good effect on the teaching of knowledge,and can improve students' interests,and can improve students' understanding of chemistry occupations and majors.
