The key competences of geography and the establishment of the fundamental task of improving morals put forward new requirements for geography teaching in high school.How to improve the efficiency of geography teaching in high school is particularly important.Professor David Merrill,an American education technology expert,has studied a number of teaching theories in order to study how to improve teaching effects.In 2002,he proposed the first teaching principles.This principle emphasizes the problem-centered principle,starting with the activation of old knowledge,demonstrating new knowledge and trying to apply it as a process,and blending the four ends of the repeated teaching phase cycle.In order to improve the teaching efficiency of the high school geography classroom,this article will study the high school geography teaching design based on the primary teaching principles and verify its effect in the high school geography classroom.This article reviews and analyzes the relevant domestic and foreign relevant literature on primary teaching principles,and explains the relevant concepts of primary teaching principles.In order to understand the current status of high school geography teaching,a questionnaire survey and interviews were used to investigate the students in the teaching class and local geography teachers during the internship.Through statistics and analysis of the results of questionnaires and interviews,problems in the process of geography teaching are discovered.Based on the study of the primary teaching principles,the reference standards,development mode,teaching design frameworks and teaching course design and analysis of geography teaching design based on the primary teaching principles are proposed.According to the teaching design mode,through the establishment of experimental classes and control classes,an experimental study on the effectiveness of teaching design was conducted.In the process of analyzing the experimental results,the test results of the two classes are mainly compared and analyzed according to SPSS 22.0,and then the high school geography classroom teaching effect based on the primary teaching principle is obtained.The experimental results show that after a semester of differential teaching,the results of the experimental class and the control class are obviously different,and the results of the experimental class are better than the control class.And the experimental class is higher than the control class in learning interest and participation in classroom activities.It can be seen that the high school geography teaching design based on the primary teaching principles can improve students 'interest and participation in the geography classroom,and also improve students' academic performance and learning efficiency.
