Chemistry is a basic natural science that studies the composition,structure,property and change rule of matter at the level of atom and molecule.The new curriculum advocates the concept of "promoting subject understanding",which decides that learning chemistry should be integrated among the "macro-micro-symbol-curve" and other representations.The maturity and development of digital experiment(hand-held technology)bring more convenience to the application of "Tetra-Representation" in Chemistry Teaching in senior high school.On the basis of consulting relevant literature at home and abroad for theoretical research,through the design of questionnaires,to understand the understanding and application of digital experiments and "Tetra-Representation" between teachers and students in the process of teaching and learning practice.The results show that the use rate of digital experiment(hand-held technology)in chemistry classroom is not high,and its effect on improving students' chemical representation ability is not obvious.High school students and chemistry teachers use different forms of representation in the process of chemistry teaching and inquiry is not balanced,moreover,the use is mostly aimed at solving problems and examinations,and deep analysis and understanding is not enough.In order to enable students to complete the transformation between multiple representations more smoothly,understand the relevant chemical concepts more accurately and form the core accomplishment of chemistry discipline more effectively,this study attempts to design and implement the teaching under the guidance of the teaching theory of Tetra-Representation,and chooses 5 topics: "inorganic structure and properties","organic structure and properties","chemical reaction and energy","oxidation-reduction theory","chemical equilibrium theory" for action research.Teaching practice has proved that the teaching effect of the experimental class has reached a significant level of difference.
