18th CPC National Congress proposed: "Take fostering morality and cultivating successors as the fundamental task of education." At the teacher-student symposiums of Peking University,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out to us that teachers should foster students' morality and cultivate socialist successors with all-round development of morality,intelligence,health and aesthetic.The "Guidelines for Improving the Education of Traditional Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture" issued by the Ministry of Education puts forward: "Insist on the combination of the education of excellent traditional Chinese culture and the cultivation and practice of the core values of socialism." Sinology is the essence of traditional Chinese culture,and therefore the function of traditional sinology education about cultural heritage and moral edification is of great significance to foster morality and cultivate successors.Primary school students are in the transitional stage of cognitive development and moral development,and the concepts of harmony,patriotism,and integrity from sinology have a positive impact on the formation of their cultural quality,moral quality and national consciousness.In order to better foster morality and cultivate successors,we need to study how to strengthen inheritance and edification of primary education about traditional sinology.According to the relevant education theories,this thesis summarizes current situations of primary education about traditional sinology,and generalizes problems of inheritance and edification of primary education about traditional sinology with methods of literature and observation.At the same time,this thesis considers and puts forward corresponding strategies.Its purpose is to deepen and expand theories of inheritance and edification of primary education about traditional sinology and provide inspiration and thinking for educators of primary sinology education and moral education to foster morality and cultivate successors.The first part is the introduction that includes the research background,the research significance,the research methods and the current research situations at home and abroad.The second part is the definition of related concepts.According to the literature,it clarifies the concepts of traditional sinology,traditional sinology education and edification.The third part explains the values of traditional sinology education from the perspective of fostering morality and cultivating successors.It mainly expounds the values of traditional sinology education in the cultivation of moral quality,cultural quality and national consciousness.The fourth part summarizes the current situations of inheritance and edification of primary sinology education from the aspects of curriculum,activities,teaching materials,teachers,students and so on,and analyzes the current situations.The fifth part discusses the predicaments of inheritance and edification of primary sinology education from the perspective of fostering morality and cultivating successors.It can be divided into the lack of systems in school education,the lack of teachers' professional qualities,the inappropriate contents of education,the utilitarian mentalities,and the limitations of educational researches.The sixth part puts forward the relevant methods of inheritance and edification of primary sinology education from the perspective of fostering morality and cultivating successors.It can be divided into five aspects: the systematization of sinology education in schools,the specialization of sinology teachers' qualities,the standardization of sinology education contents,the civilization of educational values,and the socialization of sinology education.
