College stage is the most critical stage in the process of students' growth,which affects their future development.Many college freshmen,due to the transformation of their roles and changes in the environment,have interpersonal,learning,life,psychological and other aspects of the maladjustment,among these maladjustment,learning is particularly important,it affects the academic performance and healthy growth of college students.From the perspective of social work,this study selects freshman X student as the research object,and USES the case work method combined with the guidance of the dominant perspective theory to help freshman X student improve the learning adaptability.Through questionnaire and interview,we learned about the problems of learning adaptability of X and the reasons for his poor learning adaptability.Through the analysis of the needs of the client and the assessment of the superior resources of the client,we set up service objectives and service plans with the client.The learning adaptability of X student is manifested in: no learning goal in learning motivation,bad learning attitude,late arrival and early leave,sleeping in class or playing with mobile phone,no learning method and plan of his own in learning ability,and he cannot adapt to the teaching mode and learning environment of the school.On the basis of collecting data,the author analyzes the causes of X's learning adaptability problems from personal factors,family factors and school factors.In this study,the author provided case-work intervention services to X from five aspects: the adaptation of learning motivation,the adaptation of learning attitude,the adaptation of learning ability,the adaptation of school teaching mode,and the adaptation of school learning environment,so as to help X students improve their learning adaptability.Through the case intervention service work,help the client to find the learning goal,correct the learning attitude,find the appropriate learning method,plan the learning,adapt to the teacher's teaching mode,find the suitable learning place,help X students to establish a learning group.This also proves that the case work is effective in intervening freshmen's learning adaptability,so this study has certain theoretical value and practical reference value.
