Education plays an important role in the development of a country and a nation.Curriculum is the planning and design of educational objectives,teaching contents and teaching activities.It is the summation of the implementation process of teaching plans,syllabus and many other aspects.In addition,the focus of curriculum is to transfer knowledge to students.The transfer of knowledge is based on textbooks,which are editors The result of careful selection according to certain value standards.The quality of selection and the scientific and reasonable arrangement of selection directly determine the use value of textbooks.Therefore,not all articles can enter the textbook.The compilation of textbook content is the result of multiple factors of politics,economy and culture in a certain period of time.The arrangement and combination of textbook selection is also the embodiment of the editor's educational purpose.During the period of the Republic of China,the history of education in China is in a critical period of transition from tradition to modernization.This paper takes the newly compiled junior middle school Chinese language written by song Wenhan,published by Zhonghua Book Company in 1936,as the research object.Under the social and educational background at that time,it studies the selection system of this set of teaching books,and makes a comprehensive and systematic summary of the selection content and arrangement of the selection We have a clearer understanding of the selected texts of the widely used textbooks in the Republic of China,and we can "extract the essence and remove the dross",make an objective evaluation of the selection system of this textbook,provide historical experience and reference for today's textbook selection,help today's researchers understand that the textbooks of the Republic of China have their advantages,and thereare also certain The malpractice should not be blindly pursued.This paper mainly includes five parts:In the first part,the author analyzes the background of the new junior high school Chinese textbook.According to the situation of China at that time,the author divides the background into social background and educational background for comprehensive analysis.First of all,it introduces the political,cultural and other social backgrounds in the period of textbook editing.Second,it introduces the influence of educational backgrounds such as Lu fikui's educational thoughts,Dewey's pragmatism educational thoughts,editor's and his colleagues' Educational Thoughts on the selection of texts.The second part analyzes the selection criteria of one of the elements of the selection system,and analyzes that the editors are guided by those criteria to select articles into the new junior high school Chinese.The whole set of textbooks embodies the classic,contemporary,educational and student-oriented selection criteria.The third part analyzes the text content of this set of textbooks,including the source,genre and theme of the selected text.On the basis of a systematic and comprehensive analysis of the text content of the textbooks,it discusses the characteristics of the selected text content of this set of textbooks under the specific historical background of the middle and later period of the Republic of China.The fourth part,through the analysis of the arrangement of the selected text of this set of textbooks,sorts out the outstanding characteristics of the arrangement of the selected text.In the fifth part,the author analyzes the reference and deficiency of this textbook selection system and Its Enlightenment to the contemporary textbook selection.
