In recent years,there has been a lot of research on Chinese textbooks.The late Qing Dynasty and early Republican period is the germination period of Chinese curriculum.It can provide a useful reference for the compilation of modern Chinese textbooks.In 1930,the Junior High School's Mixed Chinese Textbook published by Beixin press and written by zhao Jingshen,systematically incorporated the knowledge essays into Chinese textbooks earlier,which created a new way of textbook compilation.Compared with the old-style selective textbooks,this set of books clearly defines the teaching scope of teachers and the learning tasks of students.It is easier to carry out teaching activities and has unique significance and value.By analyzing the knowledge system,selected articles and guide materials of this textbook,the author tries to explore the compilation and selection characteristics of this textbook,so as to enrich the research on the compilation of Chinese textbooks in the republic of China and provide useful reference for the compilation of modern Chinese textbooks.This thesis consists of four chapters.The first chapter introduces the writing background of the Junior High School's Mixed Chinese Textbook.During this period,textbooks were compiled according to curriculum standards.Curriculum standards restrict the compilation of textbooks.Textbooks show the same pattern in some aspects,but on this basis,textbook editors innovate the compilation style of Chinese textbooks.Beixin press seized the opportunity to enter the textbook market.The editor-in-chief Zhao Jingshen personally wrote this set of Junior High School's Mixed Chinese Textbook.The second chapter introduces the knowledge system of this textbooks.The knowledge system of this book is systematic and comprehensive.It is divided into three levels.The first and second volumes of the textbook cover grammar knowledge,the third and fourth volumes cover grammar knowledge,and the fifth and sixth volumes cover rhetorical knowledge.Six volumes of textbooks are connected in series based on the knowledge system.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of the texts and guide materials of this textbooks.The selected articles in the textbook are marked with the brand of an era.The proportion of the selected articles in each volume and the distribution of the style are in accordance with the provisions of the curriculum standards.Theselected articles are influenced by the knowledge system.The ideological content of selected articles is restricted by the "party-oriented education",avoiding the works of democratic revolution,and the ideological content focuses on the interest and cultivation.More than half of the selected works are modern literary works,which play a good role in the dissemination of literature and continue the cultural ideal of Beixin press.The guide materials are the supplement of the selected articles,including the author's biography and notes,which help students to understand the meaning of the articles and supplement the knowledge of Chinese.The fourth chapter is about the inspiration of the arrangement of the textbook of mixed Chinese in junior middle school.From the three aspects of the arrangement of Chinese knowledge,the key points of the selection of the textbook and the compilation of the guide materials,the author compares the Junior High School's Mixed Chinese Textbook with the textbook of "compiled by the Ministry" and concludes that the Junior High School's Mixed Chinese Textbook is worthy of reference.
