In this study,the balance ability of college students with different levels of physical activity was taken as the starting point,and the EMG was used to collect the EMG of the lower limb surface under two balance modes..Explore the differences in the balance ability of college students with different levels of physical activity;and the electromyographic characteristics of the lower limb muscle surface.Understand the constraints of balance ability and the effect of lower limb muscle strength on balance ability.Using the measurement method,mathematical statistics method,using the instrument(BIODEX950-302 dynamic and static balance tester,16-channel wireless remote sensing detection surface EMG acquisition system,human body composition analyzer INbody J30)Sixty college students(10 males and 10 females in the high,medium,and low physical activity groups)identified by the scoring criteria were tested for the Limits of Stability(LOS)test and the ability to stand and balance with closed eyes.The EMG of the muscle surface of the lower limbs under these two action modes was collected simultaneously.Results: 1.In the universities surveyed,the number of high physical activity groups was 70,accounting for 36.08% of the total survey number(194),of which 38 were males and 32 females;the number of middle physical activity groups was 92,accounting for the total number of surveys 47.42% of the total,of which 50 were male and 42 were female;the number of low physical activity groups was 32,accounting for 16.50% of the total survey,of which 14 were male and 18 were female.2.The overall stability index balance ability of the high physical activity group was 0.82 ± 0.17,which was better than that of the middle physical activity group of 1.25 ± 0.7 and the low physical activity group of 2.59 ± 1.17(P < 0.01);and the overall stability index balance ability of the girls in the middle physical activity group 0.98 ± 0.37 was better than male group 1.50 ± 0.85(P <0.05).In the stability index before and after the sagittal plane balance ability index,the balance of 0.53 ± 0.22 in the high physical activity group was better than 1.79 ± 0.81 in the low physical activity group;0.79 ± 0.32 in the medium physical activity group was better than 1.79 ± 0.81 in the low physical activity group(P < 0.01).Among the left and right stability indexes of the frontal plane balance ability index,the balance ability of the high physical activity group 0.56 ± 0.20 is better than that of the low physical activity group 1.55 ± 1.22;the balance ability of the middle physical activity group 0.85 ± 0.72 is better than the low physical activity group 1.55 ± 1.22(P <0.01).In the static one-legged closed-eye standing balance ability,the high physical activity group had a balance ability of 67.25 ± 12.03 seconds,which was better than that of the medium physical activity group of 35.93 ± 17.82 seconds(P <0.01);The low physical activity group was 24.93 ± 15.05 seconds(P <0.01),and the balance ability of the medium physical activity group was 35.93 ± 17.82 better than the low physical activity group of 24.93 ± 15.05(P <0.01).In the LOS balance test,the maximum IEMG discharge of the tibialis anterior muscle in the low physical activity group was 52.69 greater than that in the high physical activity group with the smallest discharge 22.57(P <0.001);the IEMG value of the tibialis anterior muscle in the low physical activity group was greater than the second The middle physical activity group was 29.59(P <0.01).In standing with closed eyes on one leg,the maximum discharge of tibialis anterior muscle in the low physical activity group was 48.84 larger than that in the high physical activity group 29.21(P <0.01),and the middle physical activity group was 34.45 larger than the high physical activity group(P <0.05);And the discharge of tibialis anterior muscle in the middle physical activity group was greater than that in the high physical activity group(P <0.01).3.In the LOS balance test,the maximum IEMG discharge of the tibialis anterior muscle in the low physical activity group was 52.69 ± 24.52 greater than that of the high physical activity group with the smallest discharge 22.57 ± 10.13(P <0.01);the IEMG value of the tibialis anterior muscle in the low physical activity group The middle physical activity group with a larger discharge volume was 29.59 ± 10.66(P <0.01).In standing with one leg closed with eyes,the maximum discharge of tibialis anterior muscle in the low physical activity group was 48.84 ± 12.54 greater than that in the high physical activity group 29.21 ± 7.14(P < 0.01),followed by the middle physical activity group 34.45 ± 8.35 greater than the high physical activity group 29.21 ± 7.14(P <0.05);and the discharge of the tibialis anterior muscle in the middle physical activity group was 34.45 ± 8.35 greater than that in the high physical activity group(29.21 ± 7.14)(P < 0.01).In the LOS balance mode and one-legged closed-eye standing,the discharge of the tibialis anterior muscle showed an increase as the level of physical activity decreased.4.In the LOS balance mode,the contribution rate of tibialis anterior muscle activity was highest in the low physical activity group,which was 20.96 ± 6.85%,followed by 18.67 ± 6.28% in the middle physical activity group,and finally 12.39 ± 4.97% in the high physical activity group.And the contribution rate of the low physical activity group was greater than that of the medium physical activity group(P <0.01)and greater than that of the high physical activity group(P <0.01).It shows that as the level of physical activity decreases,the contribution rate of tibialis anterior muscle activity gradually increases.There was no difference in the comparison of the contribution rate of each muscle activity in standing with one leg closed with eyes(P> 0.05).However,the medial gastrocnemius muscle has the largest contribution rate in each group in both the LOS balance mode and standing with one leg closed with eyes closed,indicating that the medial gastrocnemius muscle is the main muscle group for human standing.5.The overall stability index was moderately positively correlated with the tibialis anterior muscle EMG IEMG with a correlation coefficient r = 0.501(P <0.01);the anterior and posterior stability index was moderately positively correlated with the tibialis anterior muscle EMG IEMG,with a correlation coefficient r = 0.479(P <0.01);the left-right stability index was weakly correlated with the IEMG of the tibialis anterior muscle surface,and the correlation coefficient was r = 0.365(P <0.05).The tibial anterior muscle EMG IEMG was negatively correlated with standing time with one foot closed and the correlation coefficient was r =-0.362(P < 0.05)Most college students' physical activity is at a medium to high intensity level,especially the medium intensity physical activity number is close to 50%.Lowintensity physical activity accounts for only 16%.This shows that the overall situation of college students' physical activity is relatively optimistic.Conclusions: 1.Most of college students' physical activities are at medium and high intensity level,especially the medium intensity physical activity number is close to 50%.Low-intensity physical activity accounts for only 16.50%.This shows that the overall situation of college students' physical activity is relatively optimistic.2.The higher the level of physical activity,the stronger the ability to control the body's balance,and the ability of girls to control balance is better than that of boys.And the physical activity benefits girls more than men on the frontal plane.3.The gastrocnemius muscle is the main force muscle for our lower limb balance ability,and the tibialis anterior muscle has a balance moment effect.4.There is a positive correlation between the tibialis anterior muscle EMG IEMG value and the LOS balance ability index;standing with closed eyes on one leg has a negative correlation with the tibialis anterior muscle muscles.
