With the increase of migrant workers in cities in China,the number of left-behind children has also increased.The economically underdeveloped industrialization level of Y Town in Tianshui City is low.New-generation migrant workers have migrated to economically developed areas such as the East,and their children are left in rural hometowns.The elderly at home took care of them.The number of left-behind children has been increasing in recent years,and this group of left-behind children has drawn my attention.In this study,the author selected 254 large-scale left-behind children(mainly rural leftbehind children)in three different kindergartens in Y Town,Tianshui City,as the research object,and used the comprehensive assessment tool for children's school readiness prepared by Gai Xiaosong and others.Come to understand the current situation of left-behind children's school readiness in Y Town,Tianshui City.Based on the data of psychological tests,combined with questionnaires and interviews,the following conclusions are drawn: Ready for left-behind children in Y Town,Tianshui city to develop in the areas of speech development and motor skills Better,poorly developed in the areas of cognition and general knowledge,emotions and social areas,and areas of learning styles.At the same time,the study also found that caregivers with different education levels,different family incomes,kindergartens of different natures,and kindergarten teachers of different educational levels and left-behind children all have significant differences in school readiness.Based on this,the reasons for the school readiness of left-behind children in Y Town,Tianshui City are summarized as follows: the family's economic level is low,the caregiver's concept of rearing is backward,and the needs of left-behind children cannot be paid attention to in time;The level is low and the class size is too large to pay attention to each child.In social education,the left-behind children in the compulsory education stage are concerned,and the left-behind children in the preschool education stage are less concerned about the school preparation.This study proposes solutions to the problems as follows: family education is the starting point for school preparation.Caregivers should establish the correct concept of school preparation education.At the same time,parents should set an example,develop good habits and improve the school preparation level.Kindergarten education is the preparation for leftbehind children.The key to education is to set up targeted entrance preparation courses,and to carry out teaching and research in the park,improve the theoretical level of teachers' preparation,and strengthen home communication on admission preparation issues.Social education is the backing of left-behind children's admission preparation education.Educationdepartments should increase Guidance for school preparation education encourages parents to return home to start a business and increase the time spent with their children,while ensuring that children are consistent in school preparation education.
