With the advancement of industrialization and urbanization,the group of left behind children is continuing expanding.Not merely the problem of this group is becoming more and more serious,but new questions will also emerge one after another incessantly.That being companionless and lacking of parental care as their parents go out make them have problems on their living,learning,psychology,family relationships,social networking and so on to different extent.These problems seriously hampered China's basic education and the sustainable development of society.What's more,they are in the way to construct the harmonious society.In view of the growing problem of children left behind in rural areas and the complicated situation of it,government,academics,the media and the community have given all kinds of attention and provided more and more assistance and related services.February 14,2016,the State Council issued "the suggestions to strengthen the practice to protect the rural left behind children".It says more than 6100 million rural left behind children will enjoy the national help.But,for the specific services provided to rural left behind children in rural areas there are some deficiencies.For example,the countryside inland enjoys few.There is too much voluntary service.The services provided are far from profession and lack pertinence.The management is poor.For the large groups of children left behind and the difficulties they facing,we have much work to do to solve these problems.Problems rural left behind children currently facing are complex and urgent which cannot simply rely on the management of government and the assistance of community volunteer.Social work case management as a kind of "help people to help themselves" for the purpose of professional and integrated service,can make up for the deficiencies of the single volunteer activities and provide more professional and systematic manner through a comprehensive service,which provide new vision and direction for solving the problems of left behind children in rural areas.In view of this,the present investigations depends on the field study,literature reviews,interviews and observations,to understand the status of rural left behind children and some services and supports represented by "Hope Home" volunteer service now.Under the guidance of the advantage theory,ecological systems theory and social support theory,I take fully comprehensive social work case management methods to carry out practices.I take full advantage of the foundation laid by the "hope home" activities and makes up for its shortcomings and then combine the "Hope Home" volunteer activities with professional social work services.I play the roles of the coordinator and supervisor,integrate all resources andwin supports of the systems around,forming a virtuous social network which can better address and meet a variety of problems and multiple needs faced by rural left behind children.Based on the work above,I summarize a complete and normal work pattern,which may do good when study the rural left behind children with the method of social work case management.
