A Study On The Intervention Of The Case Work For The Elderly's Irrational Consumption Of Health Products

Currently,China's aging population situation is becoming more and more severe,and the demand for the people's healthy old-age care is increasing day by day.Accordingly,the market of health products for the elderly is rapidly developing.Meanwhile,many problems are arising,such as the chaotic market order of the health products,the uneven product qualities.Moreover,parts of the elderly show an irrational consumption tendency,and their legitimate consumption rights and interests are difficult to be guaranteed.On the basis of collecting literatures at home and abroad on irrational consumption of health products for the elderly,this study discovers that most of the existing literatures have discussed and analyzed the elderly health products' current situation,main problems and influencing factors from the perspective of many disciplines,including sociology,psychology,economics,etc.However,in the field of social work practice research,there is scarce research on the social case work involving the irrational consumption of health products for the elderly,which is valuable and significant to conduct deep research.Therefore,this study takes the typical case as an example,carries on the research of the social case work intervention,and explores effective interventions for such problems in the elderly population from the perspective of the professional social work.This study is divided into five parts as follows: the first part introduces the research background.Meanwhile,it summarizes the current research findings,relevant concepts,and theoretical basis on the consumption of health products for the elderly at home and abroad;the second part takes typical cases as an example to focus on expounding the basic situation of the specific elderly case with the irrational consumption of health products,and carries out the preliminary preparation of the intervention work;the third part is based on the intervention process of the specific case work to explore the typical practical process of such problems;the fourth part focuses on research conclusions and professional reflections;The fifth part is the conclusion.In general,this study takes the action research method and the case study method as the basic research methods,and takes an elderly service object who is deeply troubled by the irrational consumption of health products as the research object.It adopts the social case work method and the general process of the systematic social work practice to carry on the professional helping practice activity,and applies the cognitive behavior theory and the social support theory synthetically to analyze causes to form health products' irrational consumption problem,aiming to assist the service object to get rid of the current predicament,restore the family relationship and the social function,and establish a correct health view.Finally,a variety of evaluation methods are applied to prove that the intervention of case work can achieve a certain effect,which can effectively assist the service object to reduce the irrational consumption behavior of health products.At the same time,the case intervention process for professional reflection.It is hoped that this study will be beneficial to enrich the research field of health products' consumption for the elderly and promote the development of the elderly social work.
