Research On The Cultivation Of Geographic Practice In Local Geography Teaching In Taiyuan High School

The ability of geographic practice is not only one of the four main topics of geography,but also one of the core literacy that high school students must aquire.Local geographical resources are critical to geography teaching,because they demonstrate the unique natural geography features,material resources,and cultural landscapes of a place and these resources really play an important role in forming the core quality of geography of middle school students.This article is based on the background of the new geography curriculum reform,the need to cultivate the core literacy of geography,and the demand for the cultivation of students' native feelings.Firstly,this article clarifies the concepts of local regional geography,the way of teaching and the practice of geography.Then analyse the theory used in this article to lay a theoretical foundation for the subsequent research in this thesis;Secondly,dissect the meaning of cultivating the practical ability of geography in local geography teaching through two aspects(necessity and feasibility);Thirdly,questionnaire survey and interview with teachers to conclude the current situation and existing problems of cultivating the geographical practice in the teaching of geosciences in schools in Taiyuan.Based on the analysis of the newly issued geography curriculum standards and the contents of geography practice activities and local geography in the current geography textbooks of high school of Hunan Education Press in Taiyuan city,this paper puts forward the cultivation strategy of geographical practice in local geography teaching in Taiyuan city.Finally,on the basis of the previous conclusions and combining with the local geography of Taiyuan city,three cases are designed in order to provide reference for the teaching of local geography and the cultivation of geographical practice in Taiyuan city.In this paper,after a preliminary exploration and research,the innovative research content,as a result of Taiyuan city in agrestic geography teaching in training students' geography practical study is less,and local geography teaching and the cultivation of geographical practical situation is not optimistic,in view of this,this article will apply Taiyuan local geographical resources into the geography practicalactivities,under the background of new curriculum reform for the cultivation of the geographical practice force provides a new perspective.
