With the development of mathematics curriculum reform, curriculum of mathematics is more and more attention to the development of students' personality, namely integrated development, moreover, integrated development of students require students to have a certain mathematical ability of autonomic learning, and students possess the necessary mathematical reading ability is the key of autonomous learning.and, mathematical reading ability is also a prerequisite for students to analyze and solve problems. However, through teaching practice,it is found that teachers do not pay enough attention to the cultivation of junior middle school students' mathematical reading ability in minority areas, which plays an important role in students' mathematical learning. Therefore,it is particularly important to pay attention to the cultivation and improvement of students' mathematical reading ability in minority areas, and more and more education researchers and teachers pay attention to it.In order to improve the mathematical reading ability of junior middle school students in minority areas, this research discuss the following questions: What is the status of mathematical reading ability of junior middle school students in minority areas? What are the factors that affect the mathematical reading ability of junior middle school students in minority areas? What are the Suggestions to cultivate the mathematical reading ability of junior middle school students in minority areas? This research mainly adopts literature research, questionnaire, interview, test,to investigate the status of mathematical reading ability of junior middle school students in minority areas,By the investigation,I have gotten the status:(1)Most junior middle school students know of mathematical reading in minority areas is not high;(2)Part of students have a certain language recognition ability, but need to improve;(3)Most students of mathematical language transformation ability, key information extraction ability, expression ability is relatively weak;(4)Part of students lack of self-monitoring awareness and monitoring ability to improve.Based on the status,It is found that the factors affecting the mathematical reading ability of junior middle school students in minority areas :(1)external factors: ?1 The influence of learning environment on students' mathematical reading ability;?2 The influence of teachers' math reading teaching on students' mathematical reading ability;?3 the influence of mathematical language on students' mathematical reading ability,(2)internal factors: ?1 The influence of mathematical cognitive structure on mathematical reading ability;?2 The influence of self-monitoring on their mathematical reading ability. On the basis of the investigation results and the analysis of the influencing factors, the author puts forward some Suggestions on how to cultivate the mathematical reading ability of junior middle school students in minority areas:(1)The school and family improve junior middle school students' mathematical reading environment in minority areas;(2)Teachers improve students' mathematical cognitive structure;(3)Teachers develop students' good mathematical reading habits, including improving reading methods, using time reasonably, choosing appropriate reading materials,etc;(4)Teachers strengthen students' training in mathematical language, including the ability to recognize mathematical language, the ability to transform mathematical language, the ability to express mathematical language;(5)Teachers improve students' ability to filter key information;(6)Teachers strengthen students' self-monitoring ability in mathematical reading;(7)Teachers should guide junior middle school students in mathematics reading in diversified ways in minority areas.
