In 2002,the "Guidelines for the Teaching of Physical Education Courses in National Ordinary Colleges and Universities" issued by the Ministry of Education set forth requirements for the development of physical education courses for college students in ordinary colleges and universities.It is the basis for the construction of physical education courses in ordinary colleges and universities,and "health first" has also become the guiding ideology and goal for the development of physical education courses in ordinary colleges and universities.In the process of promotion,life-long physical education has gradually been paid attention to.As the foundation of life-long physical education,school physical education curriculum plays a guiding role for students,and physical education curriculum items are the main content of physical education curriculum.With the progress of society and the development of economy,the level of human needs has been continuously improved,and the sports cause has also been further promoted.People's understanding of sports events has been improved.The diversified development of sports events has provided rich choice space for the setting of sports courses in colleges and universities.Based on the research on the physical education curriculum project setting of nine universities in Gansu province(excluding the schools with physical education departments),this paper makes a research and analysis on the physical education curriculum objectives,physical education curriculum tasks,physical education curriculum models,the number of physical education curriculum projects,the number of teachers and the physical education facilities of the nine universities by using the methods of literature review,interview,data statistics and logical analysis.In combination with the relevant documents issued by the Ministry of Education,such as the "Guidelines for the Teaching of Physical Education Courses in National Colleges and Universities","Catalogue of Facilities and Equipment in Gymnasiums and Gymnasiums in Colleges and Universities" and "Basic Standards for Physical Education in Colleges and Universities",it provides the basis for the number of projects to be set up,the construction of venues and facilities,and also provides strong support for the research content.After understanding the situation of physicaleducation curriculum project setting in nine universities,this paper summarizes the characteristics of physical education curriculum project setting and analyzes the influencing factors of physical education curriculum project setting.Through research,it is concluded that the public physical education class events in colleges and universities in Gansu Province are mainly set up with "three big balls","three small balls",track and field,martial arts and aerobics.The characteristics of the events are three,namely,the difference in the number of events,the stability of traditional events and the imbalance in the content of the events.The factors that affect the setting of public physical education curriculum include two aspects: external factors and internal factors.External factors are influenced by policy documents issued by the state,social background and environmental conditions.Internal factors are mainly teachers,facilities,students and the nature of the school.
