Objective: This paper mainly discusses the effects of taekwondo training on children's flexibility and agility,so as to provide scientific and effective training means for improving children's physical health and provide reference for the development of taekwondo. Methods: This paper mainly adopts the method of literature and data, experiment, mathematical statistics to study 40 students aged 9-10 in two classes of grade 3 in the primary school of no.85 middle school in Changchun city. Results: There was no significant difference(P < 0.05)between male and female students before and after sitting, between anterior and posterior splitting, between left and right splitting, between supine knee flexion and forward bow flexion in the control group(P < 0.05).There were significant differences in both anterior and posterior cleavages(P <0.05),significant differences in left and right cleavages(P < 0.01),significant differences in male forward bow step(P < 0.01),significant differences in female prone knees(P <0.05),and male There was no significant difference between male and female cross-quadrant jump,T-shape sensitivity, hexagonal reaction ball,RWS reaction speed and S-fold run before and after the experiment in the control group(P < 0.05)There were significant differences in the reaction speed and S-fold run of male and female girls(P <0.05).There were no significant differences in T-shape sensitive male and female girls(P< 0.05).There were significant differences in female girls' cross-quadrant jump(P <0.01).Conclusions:1.Taekwondo training can effectively improve children's flexible quality and sensitive quality.2.The influence of taekwondo training on children's flexibility quality is significantly improved, and the improvement rate of girls is greater than that of boys, indicating that under the same conditions, girls are more likely to accept and improve than boys.3.After 20 weeks of taekwondo training, the influence on children in the experimental group was not obvious for both boys and girls to improve their T-sensitivity,indicating that they did not have developmental advantages.
