The application-oriented colleges and universities in China started late and developed slowly.Although the policy supports the transition from ordinary universities to application-oriented universities,many colleges and universities still use the former teacher performance appraisal system and their development objectives are vague.Therefore,the establishment of teachers' performance appraisal in accordance with the characteristics of the development of applied universities is the key task in the reform and development of higher education in China.Through the investigation and analysis of the teachers' performance appraisal system in G College,this paper makes a systematic analysis of the teachers' performance appraisal system implemented in G College by collecting relevant performance appraisal theories,using questionnaires and interviews,and so on.The following problems have been found:(1)the positioning of performance appraisal is not accurate,which is inconsistent with the goal of the development of G College;(2)there is no differentiation between teaching and practice in the evaluation system of teachers' performance in G College;(3)there is no combination of qualitative and quantitative indicators in the index system of teachers' performance appraisal;4.At present,there are some deficiencies in the feedback of the performance appraisal system and the application of the performance results in G College.For G Scienc The problems existing in the performance appraisal system of teachers in colleges and universities are analyzed systematically by means of questionnaire investigation,interview,literature retrieval and so on,and the suggestions of optimizing the index system of teachers' performance appraisal are put forward: science,and so on.Reasonable optimization of the detailed rules of the assessment indicators;To improve the application value of teachers' performance appraisal results;to train or introduce professional performance appraisal personnel;to improve the feedback and communication of performance appraisal results.The purpose of this study is to make a certain optimization strategy for teachers' performance appraisal system in application-oriented colleges and universities,and to provide a practical way of thinking for the development of application-oriented colleges and universities.
