| With the rapid economic development and the transfer of rural labor force,left-behind children have gradually entered the public vision.Influenced by the long-term separation from their parents and social gender culture,left-behind girls face many pressures and challenges.Resilience is an important ability in In the course of their development,and a high level of resilience can help them face difficulties better.Therefore,this paper studies the improvement of left-behind girls ‘ resilience with the professional methods and relevant theories of social work.Using the interviews and scales,the social worker studies the present situation of left-behind girls in G village.Then,the social worker assess their needs and analyze the factors affecting the resilience level of Left-behind girls from four aspects: individual,family,school and society.First,the physiological difference between girls and boys leads to their different thinking and behavior.Second,the absence of family structure and the reinforcement of gender role expectation also affect their behavior.Third,improper ways of school education and teachers' stereotype of girls have an important impact on girls' ability.Fourth,the mass media publicity on gender differences and the lack of relevant policies in society affect left-behind girls' ability to establish correct self-cognition.In order to improve resilience in an all-round way,the social worker carry out case work and group work on the basis of the gender perspective.Finally,the paper summarizes the experience and shortcomings,and provides suggestions for the future development of this field.When providing services to left-behind girls,social workers should pay attention to the gender perspective and adopt the method of combining case work and group work.In addition,individuals,families,schools and society need to work together to form a linkage mechanism.Through these methods,the internal and external protective factors of left-behind girls can be improved,their level of resilience improved. |
