Teachers' professional identity is the fundamental driving force of teachers' professional development and the psychological basis for them to resist professional pressure and foreign conflicts.For publicly-funded male normal students in elementary education major,teachers' professional identity is not only the most basic psychological preparation and internal motivation,but also affects their learning of professional knowledge and skills.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out the research on the professional identity of publicly-funded male normal students in elementary education major to promote the professional development of primary school teachers.This study takes the publicly-funded male normal students in elementary education major in two undergraduate colleges and universities in Fujian Province as the research object,mainly using the methods of literature,interview and questionnaire,from the aspects of professional cognition,professional emotion,professional will,professional ability and professional values to explore the present situation quo of teachers' professional identity of the publicly-funded male normal students in elementary education major.The research shows that the professional identity of the publicly-funded male normal students in elementary education major is at the middle level,the professional ability score is the highest,the professional will score is the lowest,the publicly-funded normal students in different places have significant differences in the professional values,the value of the vocational values of the publicly-funded male normal students in elementary education major in the south of Fujian is higher than that of the publicly-funded male normal students in elementary education major in the northwest of Fujian,and the publicly-funded normal students of different family and economic conditions have a significant difference in the professional cognition and the professional emotion,the family economy is good and the publicly-funded male normal student's professional cognition and the professional feeling is higher than the family economic situation poor.On the basis of the investigation of the present situation,this study discusses the influencing factors from the external and internal aspects of the normal students.The external factors include the weak publicity of the policy of thepublicly-funded normal students,and the shortcomings of the learning and practice environment.The negative orientation of public opinion and the positive influence of important others;The internal factors include different motivation to apply for the examination,general views on the treatment of primary school teachers and the conflict of understanding between their own development and social responsibility.Based on this,this study puts forward the corresponding improvement strategies,on the one hand,we should give full play to the guiding role of the external environment,including expanding the way of popularizing the policy of the publicly-funded normal students,improving the training mode of colleges and universities,improving the social status of teachers and giving full play to.On the other hand,it is necessary to strengthen the leading role of internal forces,which is embodied in strengthening teachers' professional beliefs and strengthening their own theoretical learning and skill building.
